Zenobian_84
After a few months of delay, finally got around to popping "the question" to the GF yesterday. She said yes, among the many tears being shed; and many kisses were had. Feels pretty good taking the next step. Now if I can finish some of the other things going on at the moment, life will be pretty good for a while.

Keyav8r
Congratulations and best wishes. Two tips - (1) learn to compromise and (2) never go to bed angry. Those two have worked pretty well for me for 51 years.

Butchershop
Awesome. Many happy years to you both. Just remember -- what's "hers" is "hers" & what's "yours" is "hers." Very simple, but very effective!!! Now, coaxing her to think like you - that takes a master's touch. Comes with years of experience - or so I'm told. I'm at 28+ and still can't make it work when I need it most!!! Good luck to ya!
Guest
You asked your GF if you could drive her Jeep? Not quite... :rotfl2: She's the one looking for a Jeep. She's been wanting one to replace her Dodge Shadow. :shake: Thanks for the compliments everyone; I definitely hope to have a nice, prosperous future. Of course, I don't know how well the compromising will work, but we'll see.
Geonovast
Right when my wife and I got together, I told her the answer to the "Jeep vs Me" ultimatum would be the Jeeps. She was fine with that. When the baby came to be, we just got an XJ. Since your lady is looking for a Jeep herself, I don't think it'll be an issue. Congrats.
87Warrior
Congrats! Congratulations and best wishes. Two tips - (1) learn to compromise and (2) never go to bed angry. Those two have worked pretty well for me for 51 years. Those are the two tips many folks gave me when I was tying the knot. Seems to be the most honest/useful advise I received. Dadinator
Hell, my wife is the one that got me into jeeps. I always drove Mustangs and sports type cars and bikes. Still have a bike. 29 years and counting on the marriage. Also remember that when momma ain't happy, nobody's happy. ;) Congrats!
