I got one Pete, really. It was a get rich quick scheme and it detailed a woman in my town (fictitious of course) who made $6K/mo in a check forwarding scam. I didn't open it only because you didn't offer me enough money. :yes:

Same recently happened to me in the last couple of days. My email wasn't hacked it's just the way they spoof email addy's to make it look like it came from your account and was sent to everyone in the contact/safe sender list. Then I got emails back saying it was undeliverable with just a link in the email.

I've been getting a lot of these e-mails in my mail.com account listing the sender as one of my friends. I never click on the link.

 

So WHOSE e-mail account has been hacked? Mine or my friends'?

My ebay account was hacked recently, I tried to log on and it asked me to change my password. When I clicked on the change password it took me to an unrestricted site that the antivirus picked up as a threat. I called ebay and they said someone hacked my account and tried to sell a John Deere tractor so they wiped the selling fees and closed their account and suspended mine. What a mess, I had to change my user name and password and my email account because of it. Luckily they never stole money from my account while they were in there.

My eBay account was also recently hacked. I got a notice saying that there was a unusual purchase, and that they recognized it. They then wiped the fraudulent purchases, and made me change my password through eBay, my security questions, and the works. Changed the rest of my passwords too...

pretty sure my account was indeed hacked. hotmail shut the account down and made me jump through numerous hoops to get it opened back up.
