Having my morning coffee and doing the crossword puzzle this morn when the phone rang.

"you the guy buys Jeeps"?

"Got a 1988 P/U. Interested?"

Got an address and went to look at it. Offered him $300. He got p*ssed and said noway. I pointed out the leaking transmission fluid, coolant from radiator and oil puddle under the engine. Then I pointed out the two big rust holes in the floorboards. Only rust on the whole truck. He said 5? I said noway and got in the truck to leave. He hollars wait a minute. We Talk. $350 and the title changes hands. I drove it the 30 miles home. Ran great. Gonna make a good donor for a couple of my other MJ'S.

So, you the guy that buys MJs? Guess so; from the looks of it. Looks like a good parts rig. Shame you can't find deals like that out East here without driving 400 miles + both ways. The more I see those mirrors, the more I take a fancy'in to 'em.

better be some NICE mjs to make a parts rig out of this one. I think id keep this one and scrap lesser ones. 4.0/4wd/auto.... yeah id keep that in one piece. lol.

some day I want to hire a car hauler and bring a load of those cheap rust-free MJs back east. :D Course I'd only sell them to people that promise to never let them see salt. under penalty of a horrible, horrible death. :yes:

Since you don't even have to find MJs anymore as they now find you, I say the next step is to answer the phone, give directions to your place, check out truck from porch, instruct seller to park it amongst the other MJs, and swap $200-$300 for paperwork & keys. All whilst sipping your coffee and finishing your crosswords.
