Hey yall!

My name is Ryan and I'm new here. I don't currently own a Comanche but have been looking for one for quite some time. I currently live in Harrison, AR but will be moving back to my hometown - Blackville, SC in a couple of months.

I'm not new to Jeeps -

My 89 Wagoneer Limited that I never should have sold:

My 02 WJ Limited 4.7 HO: nothing much, just Borla exhaust, K&N intake

I just happened to drop by Jones Bros. Jeep dealer here in Harrison this morning because I spotted several J10's and FSJ's in the back of the lot and wanted to ask about Comanches. Unfortunately, they had two Comanches. Why unfortunately? Because one had just sold and the other was not for sale. The one that just sold a week ago was a dark green - 4x4 short bed - 5spd - 4.0 HO. Was used as a parts running truck and thats how it racked up the 20k miles it had. Unbelievable showroom shape. The other Comanche was also in good shape but it was the salesmans son's and was not for sale.

But on to the good part! I did not leave empty handed! I am now the owner of a pair of NOS Mopar Comanche taillights! All fresh and shiny... The parts counter did an inventory search and claimed they were the only set left nationwide at Jeep dealerships. Any ideas what they're worth?

Well, I'm still hard on the hunt for a rust free MJ that meets my fancy -

so yall keep them MJ's on the road!

AFAIK the last pair of NOS MJ taillights ended up being bought for over $400. Not bad for the guy who sold the 2 hunks of red plastic. Shoulda snagged yourself a nice J10, just to tide you over and possibly bring home the MJ with.

Welcome to the club and great thinking to have someone check inventory while you were there, awesome score. If you are going to sell them, be sure you really need the money, you might regret it if you find an mj that is or you will get to showroom or better condition. Good luck on the search, be patient, the one for you is out there.

Buck.

I saw a "for sale" on a green MJ last weekend. It is on Rt 340 just south of Charles Town, WV. That is in the far eastern panhandle of WV, near the MD/VA line.

I was riding in with my brother so I could not stop to get more info.

I thought I saw another MJ behind the building.

Good luck finding one.
