apexjeepinjoe
Hello I am new here but not new to jeeps. I have a 88 Comanche long bed with 4.0 4x4 and the BA10 transmission. Well either the tranny or the throw out bearing are gone. I am wondering how much I should pay for a good AX15. The best price I can find in my area is $300 from a 1989 Cherokee. Seems steep to me. xjrev10
In my area that seems like the norm. On the high side, but if I needed one, id pay it for a good one.
Sir Sam
Thats high for my area. Here, $150-200 is fair. I paid $500 for a 2001 NV3500.
Geonovast
If it comes with the crossmember, 231, and 4x4 linkages, and was in good shape, I'd pay $300 for it. Also being an 89, it uses the same size pilot bearing as the pukey.

Abyx
Around here an AX-15 trans can go for 400-600$..just the trans. Personally I went a little further west and paid 200$ for an external slave AX-15, matching 231, cross member, drive shafts and shifter with 90k miles. JeepcoMJ
check out ebay. you'll find your prices in your area really aren't that bad. I know, because I sell all of mine on ebay now, since I can get more than I can from the locals.
