612to303
Hello everybody, time has come to sell my truck but I'm having a problem putting a dollar amount on it. Help is much appreciated What would you sell it for? What would you buy it for? Specs: 1989 Jeep Comanche 115k miles Short Bed Brand new flat/matte paint job sprayed legit, not aerosol 100% rust free including floorboards with the factory shine still on the paint. 4.5 inch rustys SUA lift Daily driven, runs and drives great but Engine was not maintained well by P.O so it leaks but I'm including a perfect running 4.0 with 120k in with the sale. Pioneer head unit small dent in each door chipped off piece of the header panel bed lined bumpers 5 speed manual with decent clutch No rear window trim 235 75 R15s with decent tread older black steel wheels Thanks to anyone who has any input! :waving: Pictures are before installing stock fender flares, Thanks! kawaboy13
Depends on why you're selling it. It's hard to think of what you'd as seeing people getting them for a few hundred bucks. Some people will pay good for these trucks. I'd say start high and you can always come down from there. Most of the time people won't see the value that you see in a vehicle. sinkrun
Rust free trucks do bring much more than a rust bucket from up here in the north. I would think $3000.00 range from what I have been seeing on ebay for clean trucks. Put the motor in and go up to 4000.00.

jimoshel
If I was buying, I wouldn't go over $500. If I was selling I wouldn't take less than $1500. But I would start out by asking $4000.
johnny quest
when i put a price on something, especially a vehicle, i usually use one of those 'for sale' signs that you can pick up at home depot or any other hardware store. either that, or i sometimes use those window markers, and write the price in big letters on the windshield. thats how i would put a price on it :brows:
offroader461
it could be worth 4k but I'm telling you it won't sell for that. Expect to get around $3000.

Comanche County
Nice truck, tires are too small though. I think you'll get haggled over those and perhaps the clutch if its starting to get weak.
