Two flaws, but I finally found a Comanche!

The Good:

192k on body/70k on rebuilt 4.0

New clutch/flywheel/bearings (AX15)

Repainted about 4 years ago

MINT interior

8.25 rear end

The Bad:

It's red

It's 2wd.

Needs bushings in the front end replaced.

I know, I know. Get the old man out of the way! haha

The first plans will be to clean it up a bit and touch some stuff up, then piece together everything for a HP30 swap with upgraded shafts/ujoints and 30spline conversion. I'll probably hold off on that stuff until I have all my parts and decide on what lift I want to run so I can lock the rear and upgrade the shafts around the same time. But currently the old man I'm trying to buy it from is having a hard time parting with it although he desperately needs the money. Wish me luck guys!

--For some reason the interior shot won't come up when I post, but it does on photobucket and the preview post function....

Good lookin truck. I once had a red one but now it's green with a red engine bay haha! Color is a minor detail for a nice straight MJ. 4wd swap is a labor of love, not all that difficult to achieve.

Exactly, I'll look past the color for the condition and right 4wd is easy compared to finding the MJ.

UB a damn fool if you don't buy it obvious youngster. Obviously the "old man" owner took care of this truck and it's in super shape. But if you are asking, most likely you can't afford it because one of your major flaws is that it's red. :dunno:

Red is a ''flaw'' just because I don't like red vehicles, I didn't think so many people would take that so seriously. He's having trouble parting with it and has to find the title, I have cash in hand ready to go! I'm doing a pulley job on his Saab as partial payment seeing as he's out of work as well. Not exactly sure what I'm ''asking'' Hornbrod, but if you read the thread I say that I will buy it regardless of the color and being 2wd because it's in such great shape.
