boardmanMJ Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Does anyone else feel this way? i still have 2 of them but both of them are in pieces and i miss driving them!!!! Its been over two years since ive driven either one of them and i think I'm going through some serious withdrawls. and spending most of my day on CC isnt making my obsession with comanches any better. just alittle rant from your pal, boardmanMJ. Josh
87Warrior Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I feel your pain. :fs2: My 92 has been under the knife for 2 years. So I bought an 86 that needed a little work to get it on the road. I am hopeful I will get to drive it within a month!
boardmanMJ Posted February 1, 2012 Author Posted February 1, 2012 i have a cherokee that I'm DD for now but its just not the same feeling! I'm seriously considering selling the XJ and buying a running MJ. Josh
btm24 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I haven't even sat in mine for 6 months :( and I drive a god dang ol 99 Sebring it's just not the same :( Brandon
ajpolitz Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Going on Three for me. On the bright side, I should have it ready before its 25th birthday!
KYMJ Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 I drive my 2wd, but regret selling my 4x4. I've spent the last 2 years looking for another 4x4 somewhat reasonable and close. IDIOT. :wall:
xjrev10 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 Yep, I have one that has been in pieces for 5 years. I wish i woulda done things a little different with it. Which may happen anyway.
Dirteatr717 Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Crashed mine 28 days ago :( it's still sitting at my other house all bent and broken  Just after I got it driving near perfect and how I wanted it setup
SW86 Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 drove mine to work yesterday and through a mud hole this morning :D i feel for some of you guys not getting to drive yours. i think the longest i have been without mine might of been a week. nothing was wrong with it, i was out of town :peek:
dfreeman616 Posted February 4, 2012 Posted February 4, 2012 i actually drove mine today, but that's only because someone pulled out in front of me to make a left turn while i was driving the cherokee. he didn't move fast enough :( his car went under the cherokee and took out my left front tire and rim, all the steering linkage, and twisted up my bumper/left fender/header panel. on a positive note, now the insurance is paying for my v8 ZJ steering upgrade :wrench: :D
88MJXLS Posted February 6, 2012 Posted February 6, 2012 I feel your pain, in the past year all I've been able to do is drive my MJ around my neighborhood a couple times after installing the new lift springs. The license plate renewal fee costs more than the remaining parts I have to buy :fs1:
