mule13 Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 Had a old mud truck that had a wore out drive shaft that would throw the cap out we just tacked a few places around the cap to the shaft ears,whenever it needed changed grind off the welds and change. Donkey Posted October 25, 2011 Share Posted October 25, 2011 i used to tack my d30 and d44 caps, the stub shafts would wallo out and id lose the caps eventually the ears would break on the stub and i just get another stub grid down the tack on the main shaft and reassemble.
