veritas4156
Hey guys. I pretzeled my rear driveshaft the other day attempting to show off in front of some ricers that I work with at Advance. Needless to say, I'm gonna need another one. Can I grab one off of a dakota or another truck without having to change the ends? Its a 1991 MJ long bed 4.0L 5spd 4wd with the NP231. veritas4156
I got the jeep farm guy on it. We'll see what happens. He's about an hour and a half from me. Hopefully, he works his magic and comes up with something. http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f160/jee ... rd-888135/

veritas4156
I have one if all else fails, could ship it out. :???: Hmm... How much would you want for it? Quotes for getting one made are wicked expensive so far... Like $300-450. Then again I could drive upstate and get it a lot cheaper too.
wallisek
If you're looking to buy you could go with Tom Wood's shafts. http://www.4xshaft.com/ Mine was around $225 IIRC when I did my SYE install. You could also try these guys, $195 for stock shaft + S&H. http://www.dennysdriveshaft.com
mkbruin
Hit up a local speed/drag racing driveshaft shop. When I SOA'd my 89, I had one custom built with a high-angle yoke for $125. Perfect length, fit specifically to my truck, and the shop built it to their high HP standards and fully painted/balanced. Its not worth going JY.
