 1500 for that...no way....you will still have to modify the spring perches to get it to fit plus you don't even know if its a 27 or 29 spline axle

get a used one from a 99-01 (29 spline) from a 4 cylinder (4.10) for around $200-300

or

get one that has the wrong gears for cheaper than that and have the whole axle set up for around $600

That axle doesn't specify if it's 27 spline or 29 spline. The 29 spline variety is fine with 35" tires, but I would get one out of a 97 or newer (late 96 model year was the switch over) Cherokee from the junk yard for less than $100.

They are Omix-Ada surplus from the "crate XJ's" that were found that Omix purchased several years back.

They are the 27 spline versions with the perches setup for the XJ.

:hijack: "crate XJs" Tell me more. I love stuff like that.

thats what i thought what about the width?

I believe the Comanche itself (i.e., the bed) is marginally wider than an XJ is the back, but XJ and MJ axles are the same width.

glad you could clear that up. :waving:

width is fine, I have a stock XJ perches and all under the XJ, bushings are shot as hell, bought it that way. but XJ perchs are 45" on center and MJ perches are 42" on center. :wrench:
