codymanche
thought the comanche was wider in the rear?
offroader461
 1500 for that...no way....you will still have to modify the spring perches to get it to fit plus you don't even know if its a 27 or 29 spline axle get a used one from a 99-01 (29 spline) from a 4 cylinder (4.10) for around $200-300 or get one that has the wrong gears for cheaper than that and have the whole axle set up for around $
mvusse
That axle doesn't specify if it's 27 spline or 29 spline. The 29 spline variety is fine with 35" tires, but I would get one out of a 97 or newer (late 96 model year was the switch over) Cherokee from the junk yard for less than $100. streetjeep2.5
How can they advertize a rear differential for both cherokee and comanche? Perch problem!

streetjeep2.5
emailed them. They said "you have to change the perches for some applications". Didn't say what it is now set up to fit.
MiNi Beast
width is fine, I have a stock XJ perches and all under the XJ, bushings are shot as hell, bought it that way. but XJ perchs are 45" on center and MJ perches are 42" on center. :wrench:
Motion Offroad
They are Omix-Ada surplus from the "crate XJ's" that were found that Omix purchased several years back. They are the 27 spline versions with the perches setup for the XJ.

Geonovast
thats what i thought what about the width? I believe the Comanche itself (i.e., the bed) is marginally wider than an XJ is the back, but XJ and MJ axles are the same width.
