Paul Bruchal
Alright, I drove my MJ only 2 times at night and I can tell that the gauges " not the glass" are really dirty. All the lights work but they are really dim. My question is do any of you guys have these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/LED-DASH-KIT-ALL-1984-2001-XJ-JEEP-CHEROKEE-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem45f1adf9fdQQitemZ300407454205QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories And do any of use guys have the white gauge faces? If I got those lights, Id think that the white face would really pop out. If your gauge lights are after market, Let me see a pic please.THX
jimoshel
It's not that hard to remove the plastic face and clean it and the gauges.
Paul Bruchal
I already got them out, but they are still dim.
duster1971
Imo the white faced gages are useless unless they are indiglow or completly differant gauges all together if I can find the pic of my 94xjs dash. All the stock gauges were removed and replaced with equis gauges with the backlit white faces looked prety good. I used the factory gauge bezels and plced the guages in them. Looked like a semi dash lol it was fitting considering I had put peterbuilt emblems on it.

Eagle
Those little wedge-base bulbs that are used in the gauge cluster come in about three different wattages. If yours aren't bright enough, check the listings in a parts store and move up to the next brighter number. (Unless all yours are already the brightest available.) ParadiseMJ
I have the LED's and white faces on my XJ...I like it. One word to the wise, don't put an LED bulb in the socket for the high beams or the blinkers....or maybe it's just my old eyes but they are TOO bright there, I had to remove them and put in regular bulbs. Paul Bruchal
That looks 1000x better than what I got! I'm going to order the red LEDs tonight and maybe white gauge faces, if I can find them....
RDAN1
I have white overlays and I put in some LED bulbs. Question: Whose/what LED bulbs did you use?..there seems to be a lot of choices for these bulbs out there and yours look very nice with the white gauge faces. johnnyc
Darn, I don't remember where I got the LED bulbs. I believe I got them from Super Autobacs, but they've closed their store that was here in Orange County. Nothing special, just some cheapie Japanese ricer bulbs.
