So i ordered a Driver side replacement floor board from Motion because from the picture and description on their website looks like a superior product and they send me one from C2C. The one on C2Cs website is almost half the price. I have tried calling, left a message and sent a Please contact me from their website and no answer. Has anyone else had an experience like this before with them? Just makes me mad they sell me a $40 floor board for $75 and charge me an extra $5 on shipping....Oh and they left the C2C sticker on it....

A lot of retail places are like that, they buy their products from the manufacture then sell them to you with a mark up.

Sometimes the dealers price is lower sometimes its higher depending on what kinda price the dealer gets from the manufacture.

Then you get some manufactures that only sell through dealers.

The plus side to a dealer like motion is they have a large selection and you can get everything from one place, kinda like going to a grocery store.

worst then rocky road?

Rocky road makes alot of their own stuff instead of slapping their name on it and their prices are decent.

RRO really wouldn't be a bad company if they would fix their customer service issues.

I got a call from Motion this morning asking what the issue was, they looked at the floorboard difference and could see where i was not happy, but appearently they do not accept returns on bogus items so they were going to send me a $25 gift card for Motion Offroad...I told them them I could not find anything else to buy from them so I asked if they would just credit me back the $25, they would only credit back $20...Times must be tight to piss off your customers....Does any one know of a place I could buy a floorboard that looks like this:

Let me see if I am getting this....

You bought a set of full pans, and are mad that you didn't get charged for half-pans. Then, when you complained, the company stepped up to offer you a $25 store credit, or $20 back (a lot of the price difference you are complaining about to begin with), and you are still mad?

I bought a half pan for $75 + $20 S&H that was supposed to be represented by a picture on the site, the pan that came was an inferior half pan (that I could have bought on ebay (see my link in the original post) for almost half the price$40 + 15 S&H. It seemed more like a bait and switch, It just seems if they are going to sell a C2C pan that is what should be represented. C2C has photos on their website....it is just a matter of proper representation. On Motions site it does say the product may vary slightly, but even the rep at motion thought it was a big difference....but they didn't feel bad enough about it to let me return it...

And for you, Look do you go to walmart? or piggly wiggly? for food? or do you go straight to the farmers market and raise your own food? what about Hess? Or do you go straight to a gasoline refinery company? or even go to opec crude oil company and refine your own go go juice? what I'm trying to say is this is just how most company’s make there $. Look at Hell Creek even. They buy Rough Country lift parts and make it there own. You can’t always form an opinion off of what others say. Or get a sour taste in your mouth from one purchasing. I’ve ordered equipment for my truck from to "hated" web sights, Like Rough county and Motion Offroad. Both of witch I can't say a bad thing about. Some people just have different opinions then others. That’s my http://www.runemasterstudios.com/graeml ... ocents.gif any ways please take it as you please. Thank you

Look at it this way. He thought he was buying a case of beer, because the picture showed a case of beer. But when he got it, it was only a half case of cheap beer. The company won't let him return it and get his money back, only give a small discount. He still wants a full case of beer. image_209027.gif

When you buy from hell creek he tells you its RC parts,he doesn't give the impression or claim to have made them like motion does.

Also hell creek a lot of times is cheaper on RC stuff then RC is.

Sometimes supermarket selection is nice but I'm not gonna pay twice as much for the convienence, there are plenty of other retail vendors out there that won't rip you off.

Lead not follow knows his stuff and is helpful on the board but I won't buy anything from his company

Thanks for the heads up on the MO floor pan. My truck is headed to the body shop within the month and I had contemplated buying the pans through MO, but if they are the same as C2C :thwak:

They got the FP from C2C it even had their fridge magnet on it when I opened the box...

i agree with everyone who says about rocky road i ordered my lift on nov 3rd and didnt get it till 13-16 dec. when i ordered it they said 2 weeks i said cool understandable. never got it. called again another 2 weeks and nothing. called the next week the guy was packing it himself as i called and was there in 2 days. disappointed. so basically it took a month and a half to get a lift. the instructions (make sure you know everything is legit and all parts used) suxed. I'm a picture guy helps installing you know limited pics. the quick disconnects look cheap and $#!&ty on my truck lol. over all i wouldnt recommend them i won't buy from them again.
