my cheap lift finally done

here's the lift....yep done after like 3 months! front: 2 1/2" coil spacers = $35.00

rear: add a leaf = $75.00 total +++$110.00 and about 4 hrs total in labor. I'm not adding the alignment cuz a mechanic had to do it for me.....but fyi that was $65.00

whadda ya think? i like it alot.

what size tires are those? I finally got my LT245/75/16 MT/R's on my truck and trying to decide if the 3" lift I have to install will look silly with those size tires.

 

 

yours should be about 30.5",i had 31s on mine for a while with a 5" lift and it didnt look silly.

More than that the long trials are asymmetric, so his tires are on incorrectly right now.

Looks good.

 

OT: did you use a kit to get those shackles out there? If so, whose kit is it?

I ripped out the plow frame and there was quarter inch plate bolted to the frame...so i just lwft them and put the shackles in the bolt holes.

Its all one piece...it was reccomended for me on this site

 

i thought it was. the design of it with the slits in it made LNFollow think it may be stacked, which is a generally agreed upon as a no-no from a safety standpoint. :thumbsup:
