I have a spring over and 5.5 front springs but I would like a little more rake ?

tell us more after a year or so when they've sagged and are just generally pissing you off.

adding in an MJ main leaf as an AAL will give a small lift and will not negatively affect the ride. I've done it more than once and have no complaints.

the Hellcreek AAL is essentially an MJ main leaf with no eyes.

To add a half inch with a spring over, I would just stick a 1/2" steel spacer under each leaf. You don't need new shackles or AALs.

Keep it simple.

It was given to my attention today that one of the best ways to set leafs up is to have them made by a good

local shop . You will still get a good ride and they will custom make any length you want .

Maybe Hell Creek can help you out with that .

I have the AAL's , with no complaints but they do stiffen up the rear a little .

I found a shop up here that will make a set for me , for about 250.00 .

They also make springs for some after market companies anyway .

A 2X4 between the axle and bottom leaf is about as simple as ya can get. Make it long enough to reach from the back bumper to the front axle it will also help reduce spring wrap up.
