aemsee Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 The ultimate find. 8 foot box Comanche! http://syracuse.craigslist.org/grd/1453808244.html
aemsee Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 Even Wildman doesn't have one of these!
Darren Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Give the guy a break, hillbillies struggle to read a tape.
Eagle Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Give the guy a break, hillbillies struggle to read a tape. Whaddaya mean? He says it's an '86. That was the first year for the MJ. This truck is OBVIOUSLY the long-lost factory prototype. It's a one-of-a-kind. Probably worth at least $75,000 in unrestored condition. It's a bargain. Someone should absolutely snap it up.
aemsee Posted November 15, 2009 Author Posted November 15, 2009 I've been watching his posts for a while. He started out asking $3,500 for it. Then dropped $2,000 in one shot. Probably OK at $1,500 if it is indeed rust free.
Wildman Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Even Wildman doesn't have one of these! Yea I do, it's an 8 foot box, with the 360 carb'ed engine too :brows: Oh, wait a minute.........wrong model  But it still says Jeep On the hood :D I got to drop this guy a note that I got the 8 foot cap for that box, might even have the 8 foot bed liner too. :teehee:

Eagle Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Do my eyes deceive me, is that a tidbit of humor from the Eagle man? :dunno: :D Your eyes deceive you. It is commonly assumed that Eagle's sense of humor was surgically removed by his second wife. The truth is, that's a scurrilous lie. I was born during WW2 and there was a severe shortage of senses of humor at Bryan Army Air Station. I wasn't issued one at birth, and my parents moved me off post before supplies became available.
jimoshel Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 When refering to a '8ft bed' do you mean a full 8ft? 96"? I just measured my 2 S10's and thy're both 89" and my two long bed MJ'S and they're both 91". Curious minds would like enlightment.
