WahooSteeler Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Damn, I wish I could have gone. I love craigslist encounters with shady hillbillies. After all, that's how you met your wife, right? :rotfl2: Nope, your thinking of "Causal Encounters", a popular section on craigslist. And I definitely don't tell my wife about what I do in there. I thought they banned that? Too late though huh, you already got yours, right?

500 MJ Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I need a bumper. Can I have that one? Good to see things worked out well for you Rob. I saw your post about needing help and would have helped you out but I was already booked solid this week. Try and give me advanced notice next time - weekends are good too... :brows:
87Warrior Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Solid Maybe rob will cut 'em out and send 'em to me  Nice story and decent out come. Now you can sleep good knowing you have saved an MJ's soul. Buckets or bench :brows:
Automan2164 Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 Maroon bench interior... And contrary to beliefs, its midwest MJ solid floors... If you catch my drift. Which means its solid, as long as you don't disturb it. ;) Rob L.
maddzz1 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Did you get any pics of the guy or the inside of the barn?
Jakeman17 Posted November 15, 2009 Posted November 15, 2009 Did you get any pics of the guy or the inside of the barn? No I'll look though
freakjeep93 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 the pass side looks decent and just lop that crmpled part off and itll be fine
Automan2164 Posted November 16, 2009 Author Posted November 16, 2009 It looks a lot different in person. The whole top edge of the bed rail is toast, and there are ripples all down the side... A closer inspection of the cab shows a good tilt to the passenger side. Rob L.
freakjeep93 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 my old jeep ( its the faded red one in the sig pic) the guy was drunk and tried to go through a fence. Well you guys have seen tyhe pic of the doors that were on the jeep I'm fixin right ? they came off my old jeep and the old bed (still rust free ) is pretty much destroyed
jpdocdave Posted November 17, 2009 Posted November 17, 2009 hey rob, did you check on spare tire winch?
Automan2164 Posted November 17, 2009 Author Posted November 17, 2009 Yep, I did... If you have time you can come out here and take a look... But the fork on the loader def gave it a massage... You might be able to use parts off of it though... Rob L.
Jakeman17 Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 just read though this since we talked about it last night still makes me laugh
jimoshel Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 That sounded so dern familiar, had to go back and check names. Anyhoo, give ya two bits for the rear bumper but you gotta deliver. Worst case of persistence I ever heard so far today. :brows:
BebopComanche Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 Good Lord, all of that action happening such a short distance away! At least you managed to get a donor, even if you did have to go 15 rounds with Ali for it. Let me know if you want another body to help with some stuff; I'd be glad to help out/learn.
