I bent this bar last night and welded it on to help protect fairlead

My JCR d.i.y. Bumper came in last night. I got it bent and tacked together and i will try finishing the welding and painting tonight

Wow, you just sold me on the JCR rear bumper and Bushwacker flares. I have a silver MJ also. Looks great!

Man that is smokin. My only nitpick, and this is purely personal preference, are the bush wackers. For some reason i have never really cared for them. My personal taste aside, you have one killer truck.

 

I've gotta know where you got that tool box, that is exactly what i have been looking for. If you don't mind my asking, how much did it set you back? How do you like it?

I got it from my neighbor for $100 but it came from lowes and i think they are $175 new.

Its kinda small. I actually took it off last night and replaced it with a larger one

I installed a set of 12k HIDs. These things are a great deal for the money

 

Did you upgrade your headlight harness for the 12k HIDS? Or did you just plug em up?

Its all plug and play. It has a separate harness that goes to battery for the power supply to the h.i.d.s

How do you like the HIDs so far, as far as brightness and light pattern? Really thinking about getting some...

I love the lights. For the money its a great deal. As far as light pattern, just get out on a straight country road and take a screw driver with you to adjust them and i think you will be happy. They are also hi lo beam and uses one bulb. That bulb just moves in and out for hi lo its pretty neat

That's it with 3 coat. It actually turned out really good and uniform. Only cost me about 50 bucks

Great looking MJ, I have been eyeballing a couple JCR items for my XJ. That rear bumper looks great.

I liked the other box better, but that's just MHO.  But other wise, its lookin sweeeeet. :thumbsup:
