Strong recovery points, a second vehicle, and using your brains can go a long way. So can momentum, but that generally requires you skip on using your brains. :D I've tried wheeling in 2wd (because tight turns with a front minispool sucks), but my anemic engine needs low range in anything even remotely challenging. :(

I like the stance. jamminz.gif

Specs?

The specs are:

Chevy 350, TH350 3 speed longtail, 3" Skyjacker lift, 31" BFG's,

1966 Dodge D100 rear end w/ minispool and 3:91 gears.

I think that covers most of it.

My MJ works WAY better in 3wd than 2wd, but only a little better in 4wd rather than 3wd (front ARB). When I was in JV I got stuck in some sand very easily while in 2wd, tires aired down to 6psi, locked rear. Putting it in low-range didn't help, but as soon as I locked the front hubs (but didn't lock the ARB) it walked right out.

Of course mine is probably weighted 75% to the front, and you carry all that crap and are probably 50/50 :D

Did you narrow it? It looks to match the front end.

Nope just messed with the spring perches a little. I guess from what I heard any post 1965 mopar 8 3/4 has the same track as the front of a comanche.
