JeepcoMJ Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I'm putting this fabric in my MJ with this interior this is for my headliner/over head console btw any opinions?
comanche13 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 man thats exactly what i want for mine i just have no interior at all its like driving a tin can right now haha
jtdesigns Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 You need to return that crap and pick up some Army Digital print ACU or Marine MARPAT fabric.. :smart: Army, Marine,
Geonovast Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Cover the center console storage cover with it too.
JeepcoMJ Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 no offense JT...but ugh. it looks like atari took over that fabric.
jtdesigns Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 no offense JT...but ugh. it looks like atari took over that fabric. :rotfl2: :clapping:
JeepcoMJ Posted February 23, 2009 Author Posted February 23, 2009 no offense JT...but ugh. it looks like atari took over that fabric. :rotfl2: :clapping:  haha. I'm now thinking of doing the A-pillar, B-pillar, and rear trim in it, painting the lower trim camo green, doing the bottom part of the center console in the camo but leaving the tan lid, and leaving the tan mini console, and leaving the dash tan as wade just got done saying to me... Wade: just do the whole interior JeepcoMJ: bahaha JeepcoMJ: yeah that with wood grain would be SWEET Wade: than u can wear full camo. JeepcoMJ: haha JeepcoMJ: people won't see me driving   :rotfl2:
aemsee Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Nice....if you get rid of those seats! Too bad you couldn't find seat covers with the same pattern.
BLHTAZ Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I like it...but, I like most things camo  I say do it!
wolfpackjeeper Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 use one of those hotel blankets, you know the ones that are under the comforter. Nice and pimpish
WahooSteeler Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I would definitely say go with a tan/sand based camo. That green clashes big time with your new doors and dash. Assuming you get the seats re-covered in tan or camo at some point, that would look pretty nice IMO. But the green camo? No way.............
glundblad Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Hmm, I don't think so. But man those seats are georgous!
Sir Sam Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Ah cool, I had wondered if anyone would ever install the mechanical airbag into a MJ. Pretty easy to do too.
88XJSport Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Hmm, I don't think so. But man those seats are georgous! If I can find black buckets, Ill trade you the buckets for your MJ...because your MJ is gorgeous. :clapping: JeepcoMJ...the camo looks sweet. I say do it.
JeepcoMJ Posted February 24, 2009 Author Posted February 24, 2009 Thanks. I tried to find tan/sand camo...that's what I wanted. but I can't really find it anywheres. I'll keep looking because it really is what I'd prefer. definitely going camo...if I don't find tan by this weekend, I'm using this camo (for now)...I have 3 MJ headliner backing boards anyways so I could always make this one, and sell it when I find the right camo. right now, I'm sick of the tinny sound of the truck with no headliner...and I'm certainly not putting up the OHC without one. btw the seats are going to be swapped out for my tan 85 cherokee wagoneer seats...I'm gonna put that fabric on a set of 2dr xj frames I have. or...I have a couple sets of MJ buckets around here that are tattered and could use some re-upholstery
JeepcoMJ Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 I couldn't find what I wanted within a reasonable time...so I said screw it. still need to do the A pillars and driver's B pillar, then the center console. those are the seats I'm running in it...I'll get camo waterproof seat covers for them eventually.

(would be cool to have an *authentic* headliner lol)
jtdesigns Posted March 6, 2009 Posted March 6, 2009 You could tell all your friends your headliner was in a war!!!!!!!
JeepcoMJ Posted March 6, 2009 Author Posted March 6, 2009 You could tell all your friends your headliner was in a war!!!!!!! and keep my "unmentionables" in an overhead pocket :clapping:

If you had a line of those pockets right along the front of the headliner it would be great. Should be able to hold your sunglasses, garage door opener, lighter, kel-tec, ect very well.
