Stumpy Posted July 12, 2006 Author Share Posted July 12, 2006 bout this much..hehe here is with 3" coils and AAL i hope that once i get my rear bumper made and trail gear in the bed it will sit more level. i look 900lbs of scrap steel to a salvage yard yesterday and the rear sagged just a little lower than the front so i should be ok..lol Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The worst thing about Rustys parts is that they are made by RUSTYS!! Just to get your parts, you must deal with very poor customer service AS WELL AS sub quailty parts. Not to mention that I have seen many poor welds and herd of weld failures coming from RUSTYS. You get what you pay for. there is a saying out there...."Always time to do it over....never time to do it right". Twisty Posted July 12, 2006 Share Posted July 12, 2006 has anyone ever tried rough country adjustables ive searched on JF for a while, and ive read many posts bashing RC...but none of the people owned them (and neither do i...but i wouldnt have a problem purchasing a set). the people who owned the kit loved them. if it means anything, the people on extreme 4x4 (powerblock on spike) used RC arms on one of the trucks they built (suburban gorilla). jage Posted July 13, 2006 Share Posted July 13, 2006 The only problem I had with Rusty's non-adjustable LCAs is one got dented on a rock and the tube dent just got worse probably would have failed in time. When I cut the one in half to salvage the axle they were pretty thick tubing, so I imagine that any tube control arms could have had the same problem. I never felt like the bushings were a problem. Both where made out of thick tubing.. as for strength I never wheeled either rig... so I don't know. :dunno: I can tel you Pro comp used urathane bushings, and they did not wear out, where as Rusty's used stock style ones and they were slam wore out after a yr of strret use :smart: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

They have only been on for about three months so time will tell. no complaints on his service here either but I am just one happy customer.
