A little bit. But is it worth all the effort and money? Maybe not. For axle swapping, I generally look for a significant improvement in gearing or strength or both.

That is definitely an 8.25

NOT!!! Thats a 35. Take a better look at tha dif pics. The top three and bottom three bolts are in a streight line on a 8.25.

it's an 8.25. the photo hides the give-away items, but they are there. the relatively flat upper edge of the cover, the rolled lip around the edge of the cover, and the flat spot on the lower edge of the housing (the lip is disguised by some dirt).

i know guys but as said before i no longer have a jeep comanche and i am hoping to find one soon

 

If I were you I'd borrow a full size truck and trailer, go on a vacation to TX and buy that lifted one for $2500.

i have no money right now and i meen none

 

there is $5.86 in my savings account and 0 in the checking account

 

i got a truck that runs great and all but nothing to fall back on
