Why'd you buy my old truck from the junk yard?

Yeah, that's 3 hours worth of snow in my parents' driveway, lake Huron snowbelt.

I bought the old ford off a buddy for $200 bucks. He was getting ready to build a house and it was in the road. Its a 77 f250 highboy, 390 4 spd and 4:10 gears. I plan on trying to get it ready to take to our local truck night for next summer, but 4 now its helping to spread holiday cheer in my neighborhood.

Target, Walmart, home depot, etc etc all sell Christmas lights, look in the Xmas section with all the other holiday stuff, sometimes they even sell wreaths with the lights already on them(though you pay alot more for the prewrapped wreaths)

Here are some LED ones we got at ACE last year.

I saw a firetruck pulled over on the side of the interstate last weekend that was completely covered in Christmas lights. They had pulled over because some of the icicles on the ladder had come loose and were dangling.

I wish I'd stopped to take a picture, but it was somewhere between Marion, IA and Madison, WI on 151 in case any of you'd seen it.

Did anyone put lights on anything but vehicles :huh???:

I guess there are a bunch like me...like to look at them, but don't want to put them up

I was just searching for that exact picture. Someone sent it to me in an email a few days ago and I saved it, but can't find it now. I was going to post it in my last reply...

My way has been easier yet the last two years. I put them up 3 years ago, and never bothered to take them down. Run an extension cord through a timer and presto!

No lights for me, but in the spirit of xmas sharing I thought I'd share my decorations :)

Guess I can come out of the closet too now! ;)

Another tinsely Christmas bike decorator over here

Apologies if the dirt offends some folk but winter riding is hard enough work without any cleaning after the daily commute.I promise under all that muck is a beautiful gleaming bike

We didn't really have enough lights to do the house justice, so we decorated the crap out of the playhouse. :D
That is one awsome playhouse!!
