prepped the ebay stainless header and 2000 intake for the motor I'm building. gotta paint the intake tomorrow, and toss the oil pan on then finish dressing it...then drop it on the ground and bolt up the flexplate and trans.

Bought steel today to begin fabrication of bumper mounts for an XJ rear bumper. When I get started I will make sure to take pics and maybe make a DIY thread. From initial looking and measurements it should be fairly easy and straightforward. I would like to add a hitch at the same time too if possible, I have a bunch of parts to fab one from so we will see what happens. Ill keep ya posted.

:doh: :doh: :doh: Yup, it was kinda OK for a time, but during that wheeling trip we had a couple deep water crossings.. thoroughly dunking the horn.. It REALLY sounded sick for a couple days after that!! LOL You told me it was junk, you where correct!!! :bow down: :bow down:

 

The new one is better, but still not quite what I really would like... Thinking of trying a "bull horn"...

So I'm coming down 75 from Lima to Cincy, and its snowing super good, but the roads didnt seem to be all that slick. So right at Liberty Way *near Mason* the MJ's rearend suddenly cathces up to the front, :eek: :help: :eek: resulting in a complete sideways slide at 50mph, i turned into it and gunned it, luckily it slid around and stuck like a magnet to the road straight.

Needless to say i continues the rest of the way somewhere around 30 mph...

 

So i get home and decide to go do donuts behind the local Mcdonalds, well a cop was hiding in the corner lights out, and before i cld do anythng he drove right next to me and yelled over the PA system. "don't DO DONUTS"....haha it was hiularious.
