  1. If you didn't already leave the mounting plate bolts loose. I found that helped get them to drop in
  2. Looking good. That Novak trans mount is the bomb. Did you have fun with the engine mounts?
  3. I will send you pics of one this week (back and front) to see what you think.
  4. let's not forget heater/AC controls!!

  6. I try to be.
  7. The business I work in has seen a 40% drop n revenue over the last two weeks. Even if it "comes back" it really won't. We will have 25% less people working. One reason is most business were not very efficient. They had lived in a booming economy, cost controls weren't as good as they could be. The slackers will not be coming back. 8% unemployment if we are lucky. At some point we won't have the economic strength to deal with this. And what will happen when the next one hits and it will. This is no 4 in the last 10 years. We as a society cannot destroy our future ability to respond by destroying our way of life. This is war, I hate to say it but people die in war, yes let's do what we can to minimize casualties but war is hell and so is this.
  8. Birds of a feather lol
  9. That is incredible!! That frame is going to stiffen up the unibody big time!!
  10. So part of the LS build involves trying to get the Jeep AC harness to play nice with the LS harness. The LS PCM controls the AC compressor through a High/Low pressure switch, so that part is easy. I just need some eyes on the mod's to the harness I need to do to bypass the AC thermistor and the factory low pressure switch. I think I have got it right. I still need the pin 27 input working as that now goes to the LS AC Request pin. I also need to keep pin 34 which is the goes to the AC clutch relay trigger on the LS PCM. Just wanted to get some other sets of eyes on this. Did I get this right? I don't want to burn up the LS PCM by accident due to dumb wiring by me. 91 Jeep Ac wiring changes. Black lines are the changes LS Wiring Pin 27 and 34 are the Jeep PCM pin equivalents
  11. Very sweet looking Landy!! Beautiful part of the world. Went there last October, completely breathtaking scenery.
  12. Making progress, slowly but surely. Got the center console mounted using the Dirtbound bracket plus I had to fabricate a small bracket for the front attachment. Swapped in the 242 bezel, installed the shifter. Been working on the firewall plugs. Found some perfect rubber grommets from Steele Products. Also added a shark fin antenna. This antenna supports, WiFi, Sirius, FM/AM Radio and GPS all in one unit. Now working through the dah wiring making sure everything fits. Installed the Novak shifter bracket. Had to drill the holes as the MJ was 2WD. Waiting on a couple of 242 transfer case studs to finish the install. Got the Driveshafts from Tom Woods. Quality product. Angles look good. Next up tidy up all the wiring. Snagged a Dakota Digital SGI-100BT which is a SGI-8E plus a tach controller all in one box. I needed something to calibrate the tach properly. Got the Novak engine cover. Not sure if I like it. That LS intake is good looking. AC lines then we will be getting really close to firing her up.
  13. The L33 actually weighs about 430lbs which is about 130lbs lighter than the I6 so I used the light duty ZJ springs from OME 2931. I didn't want the front end too stiff.
  14. So do I lol. It has gotton completely out of control. Luckily I now have everything to complete this except a windshield, exhaust and carpet.
  15. I have used the Eastwood flaring tool several times to great effect. https://www.eastwood.com/professional-brake-tubing-flaring-tool.html The inline Comanche kit is not great. You will need to change some of the bends and it doesn't have any gravel shields on it. However it can be made to fit.
  16. Looking forward to buying these. Mine look like crap.
  17. Having done 3 strokers this site is extremely useful. Dino Savva is a real stroker expert. He even mentions the first one I did back in the day. A bit dated but still very relevant. http://jeep4.0performance.4mg.com/stroker.html
  18. That looks pretty impressive for a first attempt!!
  19. Exactly. Very hard to find.
  20. If it fits an XJ it fits an MJ. Amazon often get the MJ stuff wrong.
  21. Dorman has a kit 49447 that has what you need.
