  12. I'm thinking of having a manche shipped and was wondering if anyone has done this before and had some info, like average cost and how long delivery takes or some suggestions on company's.Thanks Erik :beerhead:
  13. so basically what dirtycomanche is trying to say is that the idea is to fasten the two bolts togeather in such a way that they are both being pulled in a tightening direction so they don't vibrate out.
  14. I like the idea of using the safety wire, but I hated actually doing it, especially with the twenty thousandths because it was so easy to break and the fifty thousandths because it was so thick. a good set of swipes definitely makes life easier when dealing with that stuff, screw doing it by hand. I definitely agree with jtdesignes, I was happier when I was inspecting the new guys work instead of doing it.
  15. yeah i didnt think so, i just didnt know if someone put some time into makin it work somehow. plus that truck was an 87 concept and the ZJ wasnt around until 93. so does that mean the idea for a ZJ came from the comanche?
  16. so has anyone here ever tried to put a ZJ front end on an MJ?
  17. The only pic i have is this one where I'm making a stupid face, but i guess it will do. on the right is my 1 year old son Collin and on the left is our new puppy Indy, that makes me the ugly one in the middle. Image Not Found Erik :beerhead:

  24. From the halls of Montezuma To the shores of Tripoli, We fight our country's battles In the air, on land, and sea. First to fight for right and freedom, And to keep our honor clean, We are proud to claim the title Of United States Marines. Our flag's unfurl'd to every breeze From the dawn to setting sun; We have fought in every clime and place Where we could take a gun. In the snow of far-off northern lands And in sunny tropic scenes, You will find us always on the job The United States Marines. Here's health to you and to our Corps Which we are proud to serve; In many a strife we've fought for life And have never lost our nerve. If the Army and the Navy Ever look on Heaven's scenes, They will find the streets are guarded By United States Marines. This is my rifle. There are many like it but this one is mine. My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I master my life. My rifle, without me is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless. I must fire my rifle true. I must shoot straighter than any enemy who is trying to kill me. I must shoot him before he shoots me. I will.... My rifle and myself know that what counts in this war is not the rounds we fire, the noise of our burst, nor the smoke we make. We know that it is the hits that count. We will hit... My rifle is human, even as I, because it is my life. Thus, I will learn it as a brother. I will learn its weakness, its strength, its parts, its accessories, its sights and its barrel. I will keep my rifle clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready. We will become part of each other. We will... Before God I swear this creed. My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but Peace.
