i have HUGE pick-a-part by my house, headed there in a few days, i'll keep my eyes out for some.

see if you can find some hood vents from the 98 5.9 ltd zj, they have these plastic things that go under them to keep the water off of you engine.

actually i don't know which one it is. but i already took it out for a spin and i think that was the source of my DW. it didnt do it when i took the DS off.

my 86 has almost zero rust under it and its a pennsylvania truck.

either way. I'm pretty positive thats what caused my DW.

didnt sound like loose stuff, sounded more like a tube was sliding inside of it. it doesnt make any noise when i shake it, just when i stand it on end.

ok, this is probably a silly question, ut i have to be sure. i pulled off my rear drive shaft while troubleshooting some DW and i notice that when i stood it on end, i heard something slide inside of the driveshaft, then when i flipped it onto the other end i heard it again. i asked everyone i know(none of whom are jeepers) and they all said they never heard of such a thing so i figured with this many comanche masters in one place that someone could help me out.

I'm trying to isolate my DW and i think its in the rear end either a bent driveshaft or a bad u-joint, with the command trac system can i pull out the rear driveshaft and drive my truck in 4wd without killing the t-case?

well, i need to replace my ball joints on the left side and i don't want to pay some one 60 dollars an hour if i can do it myself. so if anyone has done it and could give me info, pics would be good too, then that would be great.

anyone ever remove their ball joints without using a pickle fork?
