Hyundai Elantra 2011+ Obvious Civic/ Corolla For SUVs, if she wants something offroadish, an Xterra with the 4.0 is about the only Nissan I'll ever recommend. A lot cheaper than a 4Runner.
-
Well, I've been told that, but I just double checked and they do have the same tread depth. Hmm
-
Be careful with Walmart Coopers. They have less tread depth than true Cooper AT3s, which is why they're cheaper. I have Cooper AT3 XLTs which I recommend.

I can also see about getting you ECM pinout views also

I said about to, not it does already.

https://m.imgur.com/a/OgH9VKl I threw some diagrams up here for you. All OE 96 power train diagrams.

Fingers crossed, the Comanche is about to look different

I have a Mopar 195F thermostat and efans. I think I've made up my mind. Since my block sat with coolant passages open for several years, it's got some rust in the coolant. I'm going to flush and then install a coolant filter, just keeping this current radiator topped off and give it a while to clean up the coolant before I put a big money radiator in. The current radiator isn't leaking badly, I top it off about once a month. When I do go, it's probably going to be a decision between the CSF and Mishimoto.

Last time I broke down on the road was right after buying my Odyssey. In the middle of the NC mountains, the alternator went out. Took it to a local shop and $700 later, I had a new alt and belt tensioner. Ouch. Didn't have tools or time to fix it myself, but the shop was great and stayed after hours to fix it. The breakdown before that was my 06 Pilot, driving from SC to PA, the alternator upper bolt sheared off in the head and the bottom bolt worked loose until the alt cocked sideways. This was about 11PM on Christmas Eve. No truck stops around, had no tools, no parts store open until after Christmas. After an hour of scratching my head, a guy volunteered to run and get his girlfriend's pink tool set. It was mostly fractional, but I was able to get the bottom alt bolt tight and the belt back on and limp it to PA. Miraculously, the sheared flush bolt in the head turned out with a pick. New grade 8 bolt and all was well

We should have a SC/NC/GA meetup sometime.

Sorry to beat a dead horse, but I just can't decide on a rad for my MJ. Mishimoto looks good, but is pricey and I've seen some people having issues or saying they clog easily. I've been thinking about running a coolant filter anyways. Summit 3 row has some good reviews. Mixed reviews on the CSF 3 row Then there's always the Spectre stocker. Some love it, some hate it. I've already got the triple e fans and shroud on an eBay 3 row aluminum that's now leaking. Is there an all around best radiator?

Sounds like a good project. Always good to have another South Carolinian in here.

Began ordering parts for the front regear. Revolution 4.56 gears, Motive install kit and a Spartan helical LSD.

I'll see about getting you some diagrams.

That's a 96 ECM. So you're right, it might not be a 97+ harness etc

That brake setup is a work of art. -
What's the part number on the ECM?
-
And with a quick rebuild of the ABS module, replacing the other parts, she sold in less than 24 hrs for $2800.
-
Congrats! Lots of work in a short time.

I used to spend class time daydreaming about these two particular Bushwhacker ad photos. The MJ is why I wanted the chrome grille surround, black 10 slot and why I want an ARB bumper
-
I FINALLY have a 10 slot. Just like I always admired in the Quadratec catalog back when I was in high school.
