  1. You bought directly from RC or a vendor?
  2. I use a drawtite front receiver, stout stuff rated at 9k. They only run around $100 and tie both psuedo framerails together for a strong front end when pulling. Good idea on the crossmember between yours.
  3. That one is on the Rockford Driveline link I posted. They're great to deal with, reasonably priced and they ship quick.
  4. There are two flanges on this page, click on the specs and you may find what you need. Here's a pair of spring perches, Mopar brand, that'll fit. $8.99 for the pair. Ubolts and ubolt plates.
  5. The driver's side of my bench seat is broken down a little too. Local upholstery shop gave me a great price on replacing the foam, was even cheaper since I'd pull the seat myself and take it in to save on labor.
  6. The vent is located in the base plate of the shifter, and you don't really need one.
  7. Go with a Grand Marquis distributor if you go through the trouble of changing it out. 'bout the only thing not changed is the vacuum diaghram, right?
  8. I had to move the fuel pump around some on my shortbed '88 to get it to seat correctly in the bottom of the tank.
  9. Check out the size of the doors, tells me it started life as a 2dr XJ.
  10. I have 5.5" coils which is slightly taller than your combined spring/spacer setup, but it's close. My LCA's needed to be 17" and my UCA's 16.25" center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole.
  11. MT/R's suck in the mud from what I've seen here in the midwest. Overpriced and overrated. Reason they're so expensive, they were released when the market was ripe for a new MT and the hype was high. Prices have never really come down much on them. I've seen them wear pretty fast on the road too, I wouldn't buy them for miles. The same soft compound that helps in the rocks, hurts the mileage.
  12. Yes it has. Nice.
  13. The lengths will be different between 2.5L and 4.0L, as well as between auto and standard tranny.
  14. If the stock beef will work for you, consider a draglink from a RHD XJ and mount it and the draglink above the steering arms with tapered inserts from www.goferitoffroad.com .
  15. I think his are the SS 34"x9.5". Q78's for my YJ too, deep tread and just shy of 36" diameter.
  16. Yes, most tire manufacturers recommend such but it's no reflection as to what can be used in the real world.
  17. YJ front brake lines fit good.
  18. This clean XMJ conversion been posted yet?
  19. Yes they do, best tire going.

I just pick up a handfull of 'em whenever I'm at the junkyard for pocket change.
  21. You can put it on a 7" rim, you'll be fine.
  22. You guys are having WAY too much fun, and roll your sleeves wrong :brows:
  23. It's 1.5" acme thread, I think the pitch is 4/1".
  24. Here it is sans paint.
  25. Here's some used trailcutters if you could get a break on the price, probably not worth shipping though. That 34x9.5 Special Service TSL is my favorite, 27/32" tread depth is the most of any swamper besides the Bogger. Tons more than an Irok and more than most other bias TSL's. I love the pizza cutters.
