try picking up the current CPS and cam sensor? I mean...what's the worst that could happen? you could just make a jumper harness for each to accomplish this... -

Why not? their mounting system is pretty week, and the control arms don't look too beefy. -

that makes sense. but why on God's green earth are you running a Rock Crawler control arm/longarm setup? -
I used tru-blu plumbers dope. just don't get it on the holes.

couple things for you... the LCA mounts aren't that thick. weld plate from your old shock mount/coil bucket area to the LCA mount. next thing....you probably don't realize this, but the holes are already there to just move the crossmember to the proper location. modifying it was completely unnecessary. -

that's a basic 4wd leaf pack, NOT a metric ton pack. two dead give-aways... 1st, it's a shortbed. they could have HD axles, but not MT springs from factory. 2nd is that the pictures show only 3 leafs plus an overload, which is normal. -
the new one actually bolts on and has a plug in it that looks like the plug for an injector. IIRC, it's white. it is a direct replacement part, and works great!
-
it's the knock sensor. without it, the engine will run like crap.
-
is your clutch master cylilnder leaking? look up above the clutch pedal and let us know.

I don't even know if you need both signals to make it work... oh, you should splice the CEL wire from the zj wiring to the xj dash harness. -

custom gauge pod is gonna cost well over $100. one single decent gauge goes for 80 or more. it's only $50 for that part. not too bad. -

go to http://myplace.frontier.com/~vze7erz1/id1.html and drop $40 for an inverter. ta-da, done. I used them for the VATS bypass for my '96 camaro motor to make it run. -
sorry to hear that. good luck! keep us updated

perhaps. maybe it won't work if there's no cps and cam sensor signal? idk. -
yep, it's possible. unless the owner specified what he wanted in gears (which is unlikely), it has 3.07's.

the tach should operate through the ECU, too....do you have a pin out for the ECU? -

what did you end up doing for gauges? if you used the stock ones, how did you get them to work? -
I'm at 27 and counting. but here's the most I had at 1 time and actually took pics....I think max at 1 time so far was 9 that's the 3800 (my '86), my lifted '89 (RIP), my beater '86 (RIP), the parts '89 (RIP), my dad's diesel (blue one), and my brother's '88 (still driving)

I have both, but AllData is my friend.

may have been coolant run through it. that could be not a problem at all, considering the shut-down and accident situation, but at the same time, it's not worth the risk of installing it and either having it not work at all, or only last a few thousand miles.
