i HATE talking politics but.... Walker did what he said he was going to do. He didnt make everyone happy by doing it how he did it, but thats impossible to do anyways. very true.

I'm with eagle. buy a roll of 3/16" brake line. you'll have it for a long time for whatever brake line needs you have.

Walker proposed the right thing. Gotta remember...he's not the king. it takes him and the state senate to get these bills approved. he just proposed them. Public union members had two choices...go broke and be out of jobs, or have cut-backs that will keep them employed, paid, and still recieving more benefits than most people. We've had alot less state cut-backs on some very necessary, and some very beneficial programs (still have spanish in schools, autos shop, etc. though some schools are taking it upon themselves to eliminate it so they can keep their teachers happy pay-wise with the budget they're given). Above and beyond that anyways...a union is not a profit organization. they were charging the state double of what health insurance costs...making money hand over fist. If you ask me, the unions were getting greedy, and these people complaining need to realize that their reps were pocketing tons and tons of money and are the real cause of the problem. Private sector unions have remained unaffected except by the limitations of our current economy. I didn't vote for him, but I'm not complaining. he trimmed our state debt down almost if not more than half. What is there to complain about there? Sure, some people lost some simple perks, but they have a roof over their head, and they're not paying the difference of what they lost in the form of more taxes. ...coming from an unemployed person who is NOT receiving unemployment.

my mom's car is on it's way out the door. Though she frequently states that she hates jeeps, she would not mind a nice comanche, as she frequently brings random things home. I'm looking for an un-modified 87-92 4.0 auto comanche with the least rust possible, within a 4 hour drive, for under $2000. I don't care if it's 4x4 or 4x2...i will convert it if it's not 4x4. I don't care if it doesn't run, has a bad rear axle, or a minor front end fender bender. I don't care if it has a complete, nice interior. Anything that's wrong with it, I can fix. but I don't want to fix rust. I would prefer a longbed but would take a shortbed. Let me know, Pat

check with the state... recovering people from ditches is illegal in wisconsin. usually the police won't hassle you, unless your recovery vehicle looks like some jacked up high school kid's vehicle, or if there is private property or utility damage. if you're putting one on, make sure it's tasteful, and make sure you use NO rescue colors on it.

the block has different casting mounts, so it wouldn't even work. put the trans on an older motor 2001 and older.

Put a dana 35 on it with a 12v alternator on the pinion. Set up an automatic charger on that lol

I've passed buying vehicles I'm looking at because people put personal touches like hideous colors that don't even match the vehicle all over. Always a good idea to keep what you do in mind just in case you do ever have to sell it.

I both hate and don't understand why people would ever paint things like that a completely opposite/unmatching color. duplicolor makes color match paint...match it to your motor vehicle color and call it done with a nice clean look. also, if yours is a renix 4 cylinder...ditch the plastic valve cover in favor of the 91+ aluminum ones

even minimal stretch will cause issues. last time I purchased one, it was $90 bucks shipped brand new. put the new one in just to save yourself the headache long term.

go and order the proper fel-pro rubber gasket for a 91 and up valve cover. that 87 one will NOT work on the alloy valve cover. use RTV ultra black on the valve cover side only, and clean the crap out of the head side. makes it reusable, and seals perfectly...and comes off with the valve cover. as far as the oil cap goes, buy a new cap. it will solve your problem.

I'm in, but gotta ride with someone. have an overdue ticket in illinois, so I can't drive in that state...if I had the cash to pay it, I would lol.
