  1. No help other than that that is a comanche
  2. Engine running is a croc of crap. You have a vacuum leak and that is contributing to the spongy brakes.
  3. What rear axle?

  7. Hey, sick of black rims making my xj look like hi school kids car. Have vvery nice 16" tires right now, wonder ing what all is out there for 16" jeep alloys aside from rubicons, and what widths and backspacing they are.
  8. I use napa or bumper to bumper unless its after 5, then I use advance, but only if I have to. The last time I used them, they have me incorrectly assembled brake shoes for an 01 saturn lw200 wagon....the ebrake arms are riveted to the shoe with a shoulder rivet, and shoes are different front or rear for each side. One ebrake arm was on a front shoe, one on a rear. Went back for anothee set, same thing. Ordered them from bumper to tbumper, correct first try. And one advanced drum was machined out of round. They said thats how it all is supposed to be, and loat the last remaining respect that I had for them. Only one full timer that I like, the rest are dumber than an ox.
  9. Where are you located
  10. I stripped more than was intended, my brother ended up getting back $216 on scrap with just a shell, and $jakewi got the rest of the money to offset the price from transmission sale etc.
  11. Thanks for all of your time Alexia. I just pretty much hate this new forum. until things work right, at least. I've been getting so frustrated because I HATE using my phone to type on forums or search on forums, and to do anything here I have to hit refresh for every drop-down box or just to click on something.
  12. the "mark community read" feater doesn't seem to work, anyways.
  13. Every time I log on, I check the forums and sub forums, and click only the topics that interest me. The rest that I don't care to view, I then use the mark read button so that I won't have to see them pop up in bold, and so that next time I'm on, I can see where there are new and potentially relevant topics. its a reset button so that I know the next time what's new, so that I can look at it in a concise organized fashion rather than the unorganized hell that is the new topics button
  14. Alexia, can you please put the mark all topics read button directly on the main forum page like it used to be? I don't like having to go to all sorts of drop down stuff for that feature
  15. I'm gonna need a master button installed for marking everything read...i don't care about 90 perxent of what gets posted and need that to clear the fluff.
  16. Where is there mark forums read function.
  17. The 4.0 flywheels ARE convex. I had one redone, 1 year later when it failed, I noticed that the clutch had worn uneven because of the resurfacing. It started sloping so bad that I couldn't get a direct drive between the engine and trans.
  18. What bracket
  19. Nah, had oil on camera lends on my phone, didn't realize it until after the fact...
  20. loading it up tomorrow.
  21. With mt dd44 and 4.0 plus 2" reciever, yes
  22. 4800lbs of scrap entombed in a 91 swb mj carcass on a tow dolly...with 2wd leaves and soa rear, 4.10s and 35s on 6.5" of lift.
  23. :brows: that was what i put in my 86mj, prior to switching over to a black interior...wish I'd kept the blue, actually.
  24. stripping down the engine to clean, paint, re-seal, 99+ port matched intake, borla header, crane cam, and (with luck in finding the parts) a 4.2 crank and rods plus new rings. the engine will be going in the maroon truck...interior in the new body for the blue one (diesel)
  25. just about ready to go out the door. total time :11 hours so far.
