  1. It was very deep and took a long time to cross! lol...that thing's no submarine.
  2. I like how you took a pic w/ nothing there and posted it in :P :clapping:
  3. my point exactly. marcel, keep it to yourself.
  4. you should post in your own planning forum.
  5. Exactly - they do not! So where in the last seven pages did you say I want two sets IF they don't use 3" tail lights or any other deal breakers? does it honestly even matter? there are not many round lights that are readily available enough to fit in the space that will be alloted.
  6. To this: :huh???: all of those quotes have nothing to do with styles of tail lights, except the last one. they have to do with style of tail light box...they have to do with styles of protection (i.e. just the tail light, or down the bedside as well). 3" round tail lights don't even fit, so I'm not worried about whether or not round tail lights will be in them...just voicing my opinion that oval tail lights are the best choice, because they fit...and they're all I'd want.
  7. I'm really hoping these will have oval lights...I have ZERO interest in them if they're round.
  8. nope. your driveshaft isn't long enough to do that anyways. your impact/air gun probably don't have the cojones to break the rust loose. put the truck in 4x4 with rear driveshaft in, then use a breaker bar, socket, and some PB blaster and work it til it comes loose. you should probably block the tires on the truck while you do this...and the truck should ground
  9. you need HEAT. the front yoke on a YJ is NOT the same as the front yoke on an XJ...as the OP has found out. it must be changed, end of story.
  10. I hope they don't put any on, actually...mine are going in my rear bumper. i beleive they stated that you would provide the lights, they just cut the holes, so you can make them whatever you want to be  see: "So what am I getting at? I am considering developing HD Tail light boxes for MJ's and doing a group buy on them. Price wise, you would be looking around $145 for a pair (you source the lights)." -brimy311, first post i know that. I'm talking about reverse lights. I don't want provisions for them.
  11. BAHAHAHAHA.... I didn't realize we were talking about ax15 for that....slipped my mind.
  12. that picture is of a 90's ax5. 80's ax5 external slave is essentially the same, but 70 degrees clockwise of that position. (upper passenger side of the bellhousing).
  13. I hope they don't put any on, actually...mine are going in my rear bumper.
  14. fact of the matter is, I will buy two sets if needed to bump the number up. I'd rather have these made for me, than have to make them myself...and I have a friend who would buy them. so, here's the "new" list 1.)Jeepcomj 2.)Cdn Glenwood 3.)pingpong (with bed sides if possible) 4.)88pioneer 5.)dakal 6.)Raoden83 7.)DJM/78 8.)possum 9.)Jpnjim (either style/bedside preferred) 10.)johnnyc 11.)Jeepcomj (set number two)
  15. and remember that the 99+ heads are JUNK so use the 99+ intake with (preferably) a 91-95 head as it has a higher nickel content and less casting issues.
  16. it's obvious that I'm the coolest person in the group, and that I'll probably be the one buyin for you, isn't it? :rotfl2: i think you're so darn cool that i should buy you lunch on my birthday quite so ol' boy...quite so [resume puffing on my pipe]
  17. it's obvious that I'm the coolest person in the group, and that I'll probably be the one buyin for you, isn't it?
  18. I will take either. it would be easier for them to start out with just the tail light. so, everyone add your name to my quote here if you're in. IN 1.) Jeepcomj 2.)

    Woohoo!

I've killed a renix, and I've built three 4.0's now...all with major success. I couldn't kill an H.O. unless I sunk it...and even then, I doubt it'd do much harm if I shut it off quick enough.
  20. :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: :wall: i can't believe this is even a debate and that it's not apparently all "plain english"
  21. been there, tried that...no dice. too risky.
  22. looks like the plug that plugs into the cig light (not the lighter itself, the actual light)
  23. some of us are very serious about wanting these, in at least the tail light form....so let's keep this on topic please.
