honestly, a 4 banger in a small car would be just as fast as a large truck. and you would double your mpg's. i used to own nothing but hondas before i bought my first jeep. the last one i had was a 91 civic. it got 35 mpg driving like a grandma, but it had plenty of power. then i swapped in a newer engine. it added 35hp. not only was it a lot faster but i also recorded my best mpg record of 37, and that was beating on it

or use tj springs to lower it, cut springs are stupid ;)

well pete it won't be for a while probably at least a year closer to 2 unfortunatly. the money needs to come in. as for a wheeling group don't really have one yet. :oops: but i am sure over the course of the next year things could be planned for a possible meet :brows:

the flex plate is a thin circle with gear teeth all the way round it. the teeth are what the starter uses to turn the engine while starting. there are 4 bolt holding the torque converter to the flex plate which are accesable by removing the inspection cover

what is the best time of year to head to moab. i don't want it too busy like in easter, nor do i want it to be a ghost town. also cooler temps would be nice, since i would be drving from new jersey in a tj with no a/c what are the cooler months like in the 70'sto 80's also how do you think a stock tj would do on 31's (mine :D ) and any recommendations of things to do other than wheeling (yes there are other things in life) and places to stay. thanks, Jared

the dealership sucks. it can be programmed, it has to be entered into the vehcile configuration either by the parts department or the person in charge of warrenty claims i believe. its very doable and a pretty easy install.
