    Jeeper Bunny...

Rabbits NEED to see a Vet at least every couple months for regular check ups. Their teeth can grow too long and Prevent them from eating and need to be watched...a vet can grind them down. Lops also need to have their ears checked and all rabbits have scent glands on either side of their genitals that need to be cleaned regularly as well. We do all of this stuff ourselves and give then some wooden chew toys to keep their teeth in shape, but the scent gland cleaning can be an offensive odiferous job :ack:
  2. Do your research on the pilot bushing. All the other stuff is pretty basic, but I have seen that little bushing hold up the whole job and be quite a battle for several people doing this same thing.
  3. You might try changing the gauge itself. If you are verifying that the temp is within normal operating range, then the gauge is the next likely culprit. My oil pressure gauge stayed just under the 20 PSI mark even after changing the oil pump, rods & mains, but all was good when I replaced the gauge. Do the t-stat first...see what happens.
  4. I ran the part number and it is definitely an AX5 2WD tranny.
  5. It was an available option in Wranglers starting in 1993 (I believe), but you will find very few with it.
  6. The '97 block would be a good option, but you would need to use your head unless you want to get in to changing a lot of other stuff over to the HO style system. I just did the bearing thing and spent nearly $500 doing it :shake: . I wish I had just spent the money and bought a reman engine for it as my pressure is better, but not near what it should be. It runs at about 35 psi when hot at 2000 - 25000 RPM, but...it was at 15 - 20 psi prior to that change.
  7. Hilarious...absolutely hilarious :rotfl2: It's one of those things that you have to laugh at even though you know it is an incredibly sad truth.

    Jeeper Bunny...

Yeah...you MUST have them fixed and it does take a Rabbit knowledgeable Vet to do it. Having them fixed does calm them down some, but Holland Lops are VERY stubborn and most do not like to be picked up/held. Some tolerate it better than others, but ours (Peanut) just goes crazy when you try to pick him up. He will lay beside you on the couch, floor or most anywhere and let you scratch & rub all day, but don't try to cuddle him... . Peanut has free run of the house and is completely litter box trained, but that only happens after they are fixed. If they are not fixed, they will "mark" all over the house trying to attract a mate. I don't know how old your rabbit is, but that has some to do with how much you will be able to tame it and make it cuddly. Be diligent and keep trying, but remember that when a lop gets something in it head...the chances of changing their ways is not good. Don't know if you have tried any of these places, but CLICK HERE for some vets that I found searching for rabbit friendly vets on Google.

Yeah...I know she fell in love with Cookie when ya'll were down here. The right one will be there when the time is right for you. We have some pics & a video of Cookie with her new friend on our site if you want to see her... www.hugabunny.net

    Jeeper Bunny...

Not around here. In rescue & foster care they are all neutered or spayed immediately to make them happier and healthier as well as to slow down production :brows:

    Jeeper Bunny...

Well...we have a new rabbit in foster care with us now. The black & white one (Cookie) that I showed the video of a while back has been adopted. This new one (Cinnabunny) is a young male that loves his Jeep bandanna... :D
  12. Saweeeet!! Time to play
  13. Excellent... Always love a happy ending :D
  14. That's what I was wondering too. You should have a closed system on yours unless it's been converted as Eagle asked. Try the t-stat first as that is the easiest and a fairly common problem.
  15. X2...Just one of those freak things.
  16. You are correct Pete. There is a feature that allows "attachments" that would be hosted by this site. I think I did notice it (was surprised to see it) on the previous version, but I never used it because I knew that it was something that sucked up a lot of resources and would increase costs.
  17. You...and anyone that comes near Orlando, are welcome to contact me. We can meet up somewhere for a beer or dinner etc, etc...
  18. Yes, that option is there...look to the lower right hand side for the option buttons to click.
  19. Awesome deal dude... Kuhmo's are good tires too
  20. X2Your local dealer should keep it in stock. It comes with the gasket too.
  21. It is nice, but it has issues with a couple websites that I use...especially the one primary Chrysler site I use for work and some of the functions I need for working on my personal site don't work in Firefox either. I was working on my site today and had to log out and go back in with IE to be able to do what I wanted. I have already had to download updates from Java & Adobe Flash to make some things work, but it still has not fixed the issues with the previously mentioned two sites. :hmm:
  22. Only if it's me selling to a CC member... :brows:  Cool. How much to mount and balance my tires then? Two-way shipping is on you, of course. :D :clapping: :rotf: I knew after I posted that I should have added "parts" in there after "selling"... :clapping:
  23. I was never sure about using another browser...you know, the old "brain washed" thing that IE was the 'best" thing for windows yada, yada, yada... I was just never sure that Firefox was safe & secure, but I read up on it and it appears that it is actually better than IE in most aspects...AND IT SURE IS A LOT FASTER. My TAZ avatar spins so fast now that I can barely tell what it is... I have converted my laptop already as well...
  24. Welcome John... Hope you stay a while. Beers in the fridge...
  25. Even after doing the oil pump and all bearings on mine, it runs at about 45-50 psi until it gets to temp and then it stays at about 30-35 psi. I am going to change the oil to something a little heavier and let it ride for now as I am not putting any more money in to this engine. I have already put close to $500 in it now and for only another $300 - $400 I could have had a fresh rebuilt engine
