I was just searching for that exact picture. Someone sent it to me in an email a few days ago and I saved it, but can't find it now. I was going to post it in my last reply...

Intermittent wipers and Cruise control.
BLHTAZ replied to xj_dummy's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Here is your manual transmission cruise control... ;) -
If you have to pay someone to do that work then you are probably better off selling it and buying something else as described. If you could do the work yourself...it could be done for 1/3 the price you are talking about...or less. I have a nice '95 Wrangler for sale...but, there is no way that it will ever sell for only $4 or $5000 ;) .

The Jeep set up that came with 4.10 gears is a 2.5L 5 speed, but you don't want to take gears out of an axle and install them in another. Once gears are installed and have meshed it is not possible to get them to align in the same manner again and they will likley be noisy as well as prone to fail much sooner than they should. if you are going to find a donor, you should use the complete axle assembly. If you find axles with 4.10's, you could always take out the internals, use the carriers and install new gears & bearings.

Very cool  Looked like the SRT-10 was a little tough to handle. Maybe it will be different with the new engine :clapping:

:clapping: Excellent news. Please keep us posted as you can.

You don't here a lot about the Genuine Gear stuff, but I have them in both axles of the YJ (4.56) and in my 2002 Dodge Ram (4.10). I have never had any trouble with either and they have both been well tested
-
Agreed...If you have a D44 rear, all you really need to do is beef up the front D30 a little and you are good to go. I am running 35's on our YJ with the stock D30 and have never had to change even a u-joint on it yet. I have broken the u-bolts a time or two and replaced the wheel bearings, but the axle is really a lot more dependable than most people give it credit for.

Very likely the socket for the signal bulb too.The interior light issue is more likely with the lights themselves. They are not known to work well to begin with.

 Thanks for you purchase and confidence in us to do it :D I think everyone will be happy. These shirts look great  ...even JT's Green Tie-Die shirt...

The front light sockets area a fairly common problem. I had to replace them on mine when I first got it too. These trucks are also VERY sensitive to proper grounds so you may have to do a little tracing on those, but try the sockets first. I some that worked well at AutoZone  Welcome to the Club...

Unfortunately, you will have to wait for the next round of ordering. We ran this one from November 13th - December 6th. We will likely do another round in a couple months and hopefully it will include some new hats as well.

A few XJ to MJ inquiries
BLHTAZ replied to The_Slow_Norris's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
The only way that it would come close to leveling it would be to use only the spacers in the front and leave the rear alone. If you add the shackles to lift the rear as well, you are just going to have the same rake, but 1.5" taller ;) -
OK...had my workout, had a shower, had lunch, got a nice cold Diet Pepsi with me and I am ready to get back to it
-
OK...2 Hours in and I have got the first 6 orders packed, labeled and ready to go. Image Not Found Now...only 39 more orders to do... :ack:  I am taking a break to go and do my workout These orders are ready to ship and will go out either this afternoon or in the morning. -Wade L. -Bill B -Tim I -Jo G -Rick C -Jon T

The D44 will be a rear axle in the XJ/MJ...not a front ;) The 8.8 rear axle from an Explorer is a very common swap for Jeeps and is a nice upgrade because it has the same wheel bolt pattern and disk brakes. For lift kits... Motion Offroad and Hell Creek Suspensions are both actually members here and offer some nice kits for our trucks.

Yep...they are done and I hope to have all of them sorted, wrapped & shipped by the weekend  Image Not Found Image Not Found Image Not Found

His subtitle says he is the ONLY place to get new floor pans... Then hes says this... I guess he doesn't realize that there are actually a few places on the internet selling them at $70 each or less...for NEW ones  . Not to take away form him though as his price is better than any others I have seen...just not as big a difference as he claims

a 30/9.50/15 Tire on a 15x8 rim?
BLHTAZ replied to ComancheKid45's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well...IMO...wheels spacers are unsafe no matter what the thickness, who makes them or how they are installed so I would never advise using them ;) . They probably wouldn't pass PA inspection either  ...but, I haven't lived in PA since 1985 so I don't know the inspection laws there any more.
