If you want a Super Swamper...the Radial TrXus M/T is a good one. It's what we went with because our MJ is just a street cruiser/poser that will not see any trail work, but we wanted the "look" ;)

I just went out and got a sound sample... ;) You may have to turn your volume up a bit to hear it good. -

I brought home 8 cans of Brake Clean from work and used that to clean everything ;) . I took the breather towers out and buffed them with a scotch brite pad on my angle grider...you know...the round disc type. The bottom end of this engine is just as clean. I was amazed when we took the oil pan off to do the rear main & clutch. I was told that the previous owner was very anal about maintaining it and had all services done at the dealership. -

Had the exhaust done today... I have a friend that manages a Midas and he helped me out 8) . The old cracked, noisy muffler... New Flowmaster 40 ready to go in... -
That's quite the creative way to lift the engine out too. Don't think I have seen anyone wrap straps around one to take it out before

Yeah...I don't believe for a minute that the TJ is getting 23 MPG. The 4 banger usually gets worse MPG than a 4.0L in a Wrangler.
-
Nahhh... It's Wrangler carpet...ie; disposable ;) It get messed up, you take it out and throw it away. It serves no purpose anyway :brows:
-
I just saw that... Time to rally the troops

Have fun  You should be coming south to enjoy this heat and humidity with us for a while though ;) 8)

where to get an engine block heater?
BLHTAZ replied to attaboybob's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Replied... -
I have seen many "decent looking" units on eBay that give explanations with the codes (much like the DRB-III units we use at the dealership) for $100 - $150. They would obviously be useless for our MJ's, but anything (OBD-II) 1996 & up it's great for. I looked at one the other day that the guy paid under $130 for and it read the code and gave full explanation...ie; "code#" = Oxygen Sensor- bank one- sensor two heater failure.

OK...so you meant that you didn't "turn it up". I took it as you made the pinion parallel to the drive shaft and the pics kind of looked like that too. Sorry if I misunderstood, but just wanting to be sure.

I will not stop buying from the because of the change in ownership. If they change the beer itsself, then I may have to find another, but I am a Bud man. It's a sad thing to see them sell out, but definitely not a reason to stop drinking Bud...

The older you get, the weaker your immune system gets too. It doesn't matter if you are in top physical condition...it still weakens. I don't have allergy problems, but I was always getting colds 3-4 times a year like clock work. I found a natural product that has been a godsend to me and my wife as well as many of my friends & family members that are using it now too. It is a little expensive, but I have not had a cold or been sick in any way in over 2 years now since I started taking it. It is called Transfer Factor and there is nothing on the market that can do what it does. I was so impressed after what it did for me that I decided to become a distributor...so yes...it is a product of the MLM world, but I am not "recruiting" here, nor do a ever really. I only have 3 people signed up under me and they have come through my website and I have only ever talked to them by email ;) . Anyway... Click Here to get more info from my website if interested  .

P/N 82201506. Check with the Taz-man. That is actually an accessory part, so there is not a lot of mark up in them. I can get it for you for $29 plus shipping, but it retails for $34 so by the time you pay the shipping it's going to be the same as going to a dealer near you to get it. Let me know if I can help. -
I had to go in to "tools/internet options/privacy" and add the site in as "allowed" to get it to work again for some reason  . Now I can get some more votes in :D

The rear pinion should be set at about 2 degrees low, not pointing directly at the ouput. It will raise up when you accelerate so it needs to be slightly lower to accomodate that.
-
From what I've heard...they are good for that type of application. No personal experince here...just word of mouth.

Sounds like either an air problem or low fluid. Both of those things will cause that problem. Could also be a defective new master...it happened to me on our YJ.
