Just wondering if anyone here was in or near the "Quake" area yesterday? I read that there were no reports of serious injuries or heavy damage so I guess everyone is OK. It wasn't the "Big One" ... YET ...

Looks good. I don't see much difference front to rear either. Picture may be deceiving, but it looks very close to being level. You did good with the changes and staying with the SOA.

The Chippendale Dancers recently had a 20 year reunion and they all admitted having a McDonalds problem... :D

Here is the freshly made "How To" on pic posting... http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11077

OH...be quiet...it wasn't yours anyway :brows: :rotfl2: -
Yeah...I guess his could have the clutches hidden in the end after seeing the cut away diagram in that last link. It's just been too long since I have messed with stuff like that for me to identify it for sure so I guess I should bow out and wait for someone more knowledgeable to step in ;) :D

Thanks...glad you like it. :D He should go in to my post and copy/paste it in to a new thread without all this other stuff if it is deemed what he wants to use. Being an Admin myself on another forum, I know it is easy for him to just click edit n my post and copy everything as one and make a new sticky thread out of it. -
They look terrific, but I can not have stuff like that any more due to Blood Sugar issues  . No matter though as I am currently encouraging everyone that I can to boycott McDonalds because of their support of activities that I will not support. I don't want this thread to go off on a crazy tangent so I'll shut up now...

Not a bad deal, but at only 340 lb/ft...it's not very powerful. It will be good for simpler stuff, but it will not likely handle tough spring bolts or heavier things like that. I have a Craftsman similar to that and it has been dependable, but it has not always been able to get the job done. I bought an "Earthquake" dual-hammer 625 lb/ft from Harbor Freight for $79 and have not found anything that it can't take off yet.

Looks a lot like the track-lock that we put in my Ram 5-6 years ago. A posi or limited slip are most often operated with clutches as in the top two pics from the link that MiNi Beast posted.

OK...did I simplify it or is it still too much... :smart: To me...my first few sentences should be enough without all the pics, but I went on anyway. ;) It's a pretty simple thing, but I (like many on here) have been doing it for a long time so it may not be as easy to understand as I think. :dunno: -
For this example I am using photobucket.com. Other free sites are out there and work in a similar fashion. In order to make a picture show up in the forums, you must have the image hosted on the web somewhere. My preference is with Photobucket as it is very easy, they have a decent free account, or you can choose to pay the $25 per year for better service & choices. Your album to post from must be set up as Public, not Private. If you set it to private, the pics will not show. This is the format to make a picture show on most forums... To get a URL for placement in the "img" tags, this is the process with Photobucket. Set up an account Make Albums as needed Upload your pictures from the appropriate source (usually your computer). There are options for loading one at a time or multiples. Clicking on the appropriate link for posting in forums will automatically copy it to your clipboard. It will be the "IMG" Code and with Photobucket it will automatically put the " after. If you have used Photobucket...all you will need to do is right click and paste the copied code in to your post and it will show the picture. What ever hosting that you choose...PLEASE be sure to re-size your pictures down to 800 pixels wide or smaller. Huge pictures are very irritating ;) . If you have not used Photobucket, you can copy/paste your URL in to your post, highlight it and click the buttom right above the box you are typing yout post in to automatically insert the tags around your URL.

The one with all the Fruity Beer in it is the one that is doing good. I only bring a few at a time out if the storage frig when I'm drinking...which is typically only on weekends. I wish there were more "CC Buds" closer. The nearest one in FL is over an hour away.

You should have been able to swap over all of your externals (alternator, P/S, motor mounts etc, etc...) except for the water pump...that is definitely different on a Wrangler vs. the MJ/XJ.
-
WOW... That is awesome Rich. It must have taken you 30 minutes to put that post together because it took me at least 10 minutes to get through it

Why do MJ owners switch the front clip?

Thanks guys. I guess we will start shopping for another one. This is our primary unit, but we do have another one in the laundry room so if this one goes out we will not be totaly stuck...I'll just have to set some BL Lime out on the floor to make some room for food in the other one :brows:
