  1. I'm with wildman...if all is wired right and you are still getting wires overheating, the motor is likely going bad and creating too much resistance.
  2. It should run at 210+/-, but usualy + a little ;) . Mine tyically runs a bit under that, but I have converted to an open system and run a 3 row radiator. It does get up to 210 on the 95* days with the AC running occaisionally though ;) Covington, LA ... Are you a friend of Jake's? Glad to have you in the Club, and yes...you will enjoy it here. Great people!!
  3. You're all over it now... :D
  4. YEEEEHAAAAWWW...!! Lookie thar... It took me a few tries to get it down when I first started too so don't worry about it Shane. :D
  5. When I change ours to selectables, it's going to be OX front and rear. Very simple...very strong  . I don't like air lockers at all as I have seen to many friends battle with air lines broken, compressors not working etc, etc... and I have no experience with Auburn.
  6. Just one quick thing Jake... The AX15 is a manual (5spd) trans. The AW4 is the auto ;) . I wouldn't normally pick at that, but it could be important in this particular case because of the eletrical functions attached to the AW4, but not the AX15.
  7. Those trigger guns for the rattle cans are quite nice, but you have to be very careful with them as the mist from the paint likes to build up around the front edge of the gun and drip on your work if you tip it down at all. Check if frequently and keep it clean.
  8. X2 on that. I broke a tensioner bolt because I forgot about the bolt on the lower rear of the PS pump  . The PS pump is the tensioner on your truck and there are 3 bolt that must be loosened to get it to move...two on the front and one on the lower rear that is easier to get to from under the truck most of the time ;) . I have never seen one of those before... I have always used the "twist" method. Tighten it until the resistance allows only approximately a 1/4 turn worth of play in the belt.
  9. OK...I have fixed it so it won't work in this example, but this is exactly what you should see to make the picture show... If you do that...you get this... :D
  10. You are very close. I hope this will help finish it off for you. When you go to your picture as shown here, simply click on the bottom box that says IMG code... After you cllick it, a yellow box will show for a couple seconds saying copied. You do not have to "right click & copy" ... just click on it and it automatically copies. After that you simply paste it in to your post as it will already have the

  12. OHHH...believe me...it can mean something VERY different here too... :teehee:
  13. SWEEET!!! Kinda gets you in the partying mood... Congrats Stephanie
  14. There is a fairly recent thread on here about front bumpers with a lot of good examples posted... Ahhhh...found it for you... http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=11171 As for the rattle, I would be paying close attention to it as I have not heard of a rattling noise being normal from a gear box. I am believing that what you refer to as a gear box is a transmission to us so please correct me if I am wrong. If you feel any difference in shifting or performance...you could be in for trouble.

  17. And...you must remember that the "Renix System" is an ignition/control system...not a motor. The motor is a 4.0L ... Renix or not  .
  18. 8) Hey...I needed sunglasses for that last one... :D Can't say I care a lot for them sticking out that far, but it looks like a good clean install.

  23. You can open multiple sites simply by opening a new browser. If you use Internet Explorer 7, it has tabbed browsing so you can open multiple sites in one browser. If you do not have the Tabbed Browsing ability, then you can open multiple browsers with what ever you are using...be it Internet Explorer, FireFox etc, etc... then you can just flip back and forth between them as needed by clicking on the appropriate one. I hope that helps and that between this and my "Picture Posting How-To", you and others can be successful in your quest to share your advetures with us
  24. 8) Hope you are out wheelin' it now then...
  25. My first thought too. A relay is a must for things like this
