It has something to do with the set-up of the site. It started doing that after the last major update was done to the site, and we have talked about it a couple times, but I guess there is nothing that can be done. If you are using Internet Explorer, just try to remember to right click on the link first and select "open in new window" or "open in new tab". It has become a habit for me now.

We, Tina's NovelTees, will be there as a vendor.

Truck won't run. *VIDEO* Need idea's
BLHTAZ replied to Qui Gon-Jinn's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
He should be able to hear the pump, that is normal. 10 seconds may be a little long, as mine pumps up in about 3-4 seconds, but the regulator is quite unlikely...but possible. If the pump is running that long to pressurize, I would think that there is a good chance the little hose inside the tank has broken. -
Rear axle proportioning valve rod connection...
BLHTAZ replied to dasbulliwagen's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I just took the rod off and threw it away when I lifted the truck. I used a couple zip-ties to fix the valve arm in the correct (3 o'clock) position and keep it there. -
I think you mean spring spacers...right? You want to lift it 1"-2"...?? If you put 1"-2" wheel spacers on it, I would not want to be anywhere around it going down the raod. Wheel spacers are not safe! To answer the question...yes, you will need an alignment after installing spring spacers.

Truck won't run. *VIDEO* Need idea's
BLHTAZ replied to Qui Gon-Jinn's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Well...based on your description, I would have said CPS was almost definite, but after watching your video and hearing it fire and run for a short time, I am believing that there is a fuel problem. You need to be able to check the fuel pressure to start with. If the pressure is low, the best thing to do is pull the pump/sending unit out of hte tank and check the little hose that is on the inside of the tank for failure. If that is good, then it's likely the pump. The other stuff you are doing with disconnecting the battery, turning hte key on, etc. has no effect on anything in a Renix controlled truck. ;) -
We use a 3 strikes type thing on the board that I admin for, but it is; 1st offense - one week suspension 2nd offense - three week suspension 3rd offense - permanent ban The offense does not have to be the same thing, just the breaking of any site rules, or generally pissing off of my staff or myself with ignorant, over the top BS.

Unless you are like me and don't like the '97 + look ;) . I think they should be left alone and kept looking the way that they were meant to be. Glad it's not any worse than that and that it is able to be saved. From your other description, I was imagining it a lot worse than what I see.

 Oh yah, that was the "Category created for Pat", right? Sorta. Anyone that gets over 5k will have it. I'm on my way, but being in school now has slowed me way down.

Yes...unfortunately, I settled for the 2WD, but at $17,500, I could not pass on the deal. Once I finish school, I will look in to getting more of what I want. We did looked at a 4x4 to start with, but it turned out to have a bad t-case. They were willing to fix it, but it would not have been ready for this weekend as needed. It was really cool...lift kit, Nitto Terra Grapplers, Banks Six-Gun system, and 4" Monster Exhaust...BUT...not meant to be I guess...and it was an '03. JT...I find two things hilarious in your post. 1. The whole thing is great!! 2. You misspelled "spell" when you wrote "speel checker" :rotf: Thanks for all the great words from everyone. We are fortunate to have worked outselves in to a good financial position with no bills other than a small mortgage and the truck, so it's not hard to do on just my wifes pay, along with what I can generate doing some small stuff here & there while in school. I'm 100% certain that is meant to be satirical, I do it all the time, the humor is lost of most people though. Yea...I considered that possibility, but I had to point it out anyway... ;)

Guaranteed that if I lived where you do, I would not have bought a 2WD either ;) I have only seen a "need" for 4WD one time--that I can think of--in the last 7-8 years, so I figured I'll just wait a little longer to get what I "want".

Well...we had to put it in just my wifes name because of me being an unemployed college student, but it was a good deal and we didn't have to put any money out of our pocket. The payment is only slightly higher than our '02 that we traded, so no real pain to it for now. JT...we are still planning to make the trip as of right now.

Thanks Don. I have my fingers crossed. He told me to come back on June 1st after we get back from our trip to PA.

Yea...a leveling kit and some more aggressive tires are on the short list. I may have scored a job at the dealership where we bought it too. We'll see how that works out. It's a small, independently owned place and I got to spend some time with the owner today, so we had a good chat about things and he is interested in me. They are incredibly busy...every salesman there was working with someone and there were people waiting to get their turn. We got it here... http://www.gibsontruckworld.com

Click me --> Detroit's woes to inflate auto insurance rates I guess everyone has to get there share of ripping of the people :dunno: . Insurance companies are making tons of money, yet they are going to take advantage of us too. No big shock, just ridiculous. :shake:

After two days of searching, I found a gun shop here in Orlando that had 6 boxes of .40 caliber for my Beretta in stock. I bought 2, as that was all I could afford at $33 per box of 50 rounds. They are just round ball, not personal protection. The PP stuff is selling at over $40 for a box of 20 rounds :shake: .

I never thought of partitioning. I have not done that in a long time, but can probably figure it out again. My "my documents" file is 221gb  , so I have a lot to lose if I have trouble. I still believe that if you are an experienced, conscious user--anti-virus is not needed.

JEEEZE ......I bet you really miss the good old days when slavery was legal . I now understand your avatar , more than a little spun out I'd say . You might take note of the fact Henry Ford promoted the first unions so the people who built his cars could afford to buy them ! But hey , don't let the facts get in the way of what you choose to believe . Interesting Ford isn't looking for government handouts . I'm really trying to see your point of view , but I can't seem to get my head that far up my own a$$ ..... If you were close enough, I would stick my foot up your @$$. What an idiot... :shake:

I don't know what is good as far as chemicals or cleaners, as I have not done anything like that in many years, but I can tell you to be very careful to protect your throttle body area--especially the TPS--from water.

Rear axle leaf spring shifted on me while driving.
BLHTAZ replied to mj1982's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
You can't do that in any forums that I have ever seen. The picture must be hosted somewhere in order for it to show on the internet. Some of the larger forums will allow you to "attach" pictures so that they are hosted on the forum website itself, but that takes a lot of bandwidth and gets expensive. -

If it is using degree shims...the right thing to do would be to have new spring perches welded on in the right place and do away with the shims.
