grew up with the parents having XJ's. Dad's was a 2 door and mom's was a 4 door. As teenagers, we fit...it was a little tight, but we still fit and had many great road trips.

it's a short bed, and I've got the same mirrors, I've seen the same mirrors on YJ's (square headlight wranglers)

Do that, it's easier and better for your situation. 4cyl and 3.07 gears is a bad combo, 1st and 2nd will be your friend, any further than that...no dice.
