  1. ... still just trolling.
  2. Final touches are being finished! Waiting for the first one to return just to be sure that everything looks good. Stay tuned everyone!
  3. This guy: On page 4: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=4771
  4. I went with the Delphi unit (part #DFP FE0108) from Napa and a new strainer for in the tank. I've used Delphi for just about every pump that I've put in anything with good results. Thanks for everyone's help again!
  5. ... and we're good.
  6. New pump is in. Turned the key and it popped right off. I'll take it out for a good shake down run tomorrow to work and back.
  7. About eight months ago when I did the fuel injection swap on my friend's '90. viewtopic.php?f=3&t=29102
  8. As have I. I guess I've found it in a few places but never really put any thought into how he shortened the frame like he did. From what I can tell, he just moved the spring hangers forward and cut the frame. He did an awesome job... just wish I had more pictures.
  9. I'm looking for as much information as I can on this truck: Seems to have been built by a dude named MJ Dan. In my searching, I've found that he's on multiple forums, but I can't seem to find a build. I first saw the truck while searching through the archives and the last two pictures were posted by BrettM on here... hasn't been on here since Jan. 2007, though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everyone!
  10. I agree and I checked on that. I recently had the pump out of the tank and replaced it then. I'll be waiting on getting a pump until Tuesday. As far as I can see, everything else looks fine.
  11. Nope. Failed the leak down test. Numbers now pointing towards the fuel pump. You'd think that since it's the same pump as an XJ that any auto parts store would have one on the shelf... man, I miss living in a bigger town sometimes. :fs1:
  12. Took the dash apart again... hooked up the speedo cable again... speedometer works... and there was much rejoicing.
  13. Doing a leak-down test on the '91 right now.
  14. Yet again, another good score! I stayed home and avoided the world.
  15. Not that it makes any amount of difference in the grand scheme... but I can now count my revs! I know, it would've been cooler and just as easy to swap in a full gauge cluster, but I already had the tach sitting around. The way I see it, I've got less of a chance to see if there is anymore wrong with the truck with less gauges! Edit: Correction... this was a step backwards as my speedometer doesn't work again. :wall: The dash is already all put back together so that means I now have something to do tomorrow. :fs1:
  16. Started with the simple stuff... I checked the resistor and, sure enough, the connections were in bad shape. One had a big crack in it and the other had much of the bare wire exposed. The ground behind the taillight was in good shape as was the connections going to the pump. The ground on the pump housing looked okay as well. Fingers crossed anyhow. Thanks for the help!
  17. Nope... still doing it. I tried checking codes again and got "55" still. Fuel regulator? I'd hate to just start throwing parts at it. :thwak:
  18. I agree. Seems to me that you have a nice ELIMINATOR decal that would look real handsome on there!

  20. Bump with high hopes of someone new to see it. :waving:
  21. Rumor has it that a member on here is planning on producing rear bumpers very shortly. Of course, something can be assumed for someone who starts such a rumor... just sayin'.
  22. If there is a possibility to add to the sizes and styles... maybe even for next time... would it be possible to add some sizes for the lady's? I caught the wife saying that she likes driving my '91 and now she says that a shirt would be cool. Problem is, she's a littly lady and even a regular small is kinda big on her. Again, maybe next time?
  23. Sell it to xjrev10! He could really use a good corner on his '87. You can still hang half of it on your wall, right?
  24. Anyone else notice that the "Jeep" on the center caps are level with the ground? Awesome truck... all in the details!
