So I'm FINALLY back in the MJ game with an 88 4.0 5 speed. Whoo! So I revived it from 8 years of sitting just like my first one (6 years ago), and have replaced: fuel pump, filter & tank, spark plugs, wires, rotor & cap, cleaned each individual injector. Fuel pressure looked good and fluctuated normally while revving at idle, but the hood pinches the gauge hose so I can't drive with it :/ I've seen posts on similar issues but maybe I can get this one early! My exhaust manifold gasket is leaking, and I've unplugged lots of things to see if the issue goes away but it's always there. I'm suspicious of a fuel issue but have no idea what. I was gonna try a cheap junkyard icm and coil to possibly eliminate the possibility of it being ignition, but if yall have ideas then please let me know. I might clean those grounds near the dipstick too, those sound real important. Idk about them causing an issue like mine to where it only runs poorly at low rpm under heavy throttle then running fine in high rpm (it does idle a bit high) and I've sprayed starting fluid all over the intake with it running and nothing changes. I've cleaned the throttle body.....pretty good too. Anyone?

Comanche Of The Month - August, 2013 - The Rc Mj!

It doesn't fit my Rustler :( -
Then just do it when the engine is cold.

Is it towards the front or rear of the engine compartment?

I felt like my MJ's turning radius sucked, your not the only one.

Leave other people's belongings alone and no one will have a reason to kill you. I figure it's as simple as that.

I had one inquiry on my MJ the first time I tried to sell it last time, about 2 months ago. The second time (about 2 weeks ago) I had about 5 inquiries and got a good trade on my KJ. It doesn't have half the cajones the MJ had or the bed but it's a solid little Jeep. I plan on owning at least one Jeep at all times the rest of my life.

I had this problem when I had the 4 cyl fuel pump in my tank instead of the 6 cyl (long story, I wasn't as MJ savvy at the time) and I ended up having to completely unplug the MAP vaccuum hose to get it to even run, and I had to be very slow and steady on the gas pedal for it to go. Maybe check your MAP sensor and fuel pump. I had no muffler, just the cat (which spit blue flames due to all the fuel being dumped into the engine).

It's understandeable. Opera gets me even angrier than hardcore or thrash metal only because it's so boring. The only reason I'd listen to rap is to mess with the subwoofer that my KJ came with :D

Job For A Cowboy (their older stuff, the newer stuff is horrible), System of a Down, Slayer (also their older stuff), and some oldies, such as Rush or Robin Trower.

How does this work? -
Nice. I'd definately go wheeling since I'm spending the whole summer in Washington, but the problem is I won't have my Jeep with me :(

NP man, and don't replace the TC cover if you don't have to like I did (it cracked), major PITA.
