    MJ Test

Last weekend we were working on a roofing job and got the test the MJ in the mud going to / from the site. Almost got to pull a Off Road F-150 that got stuck, but he got free prior to us arriving with the tow strap  Worked great  Charles
  4. I have forgot most of them over the years, but I have always liked this one. 'The most terrifying words in the English language are: I'm from the government and I'm here to help.' - Ronald Reagan
  5. if you haven't switched the speedo gear, you have no idea what kind of mileage you're getting. it's probably better than you thought. Maybe not, But you have 1/4+ tank of gas and you stop and put in $10 ( 3 gal) in it and you drive to Lancaster and back which is 45 miles round trip and you run out of gas, well it's not getting good mpg  And during the trip you can see the gas guage go down from 3/4 to E, I may be off 1 mpg but not much more. The 4.0 did run good
  6. Have not changed the speedo gear yet, but the speedo is off by 6mph. Checked by GPS
  7. With what everyone else is getting, 11-13 mpg should be my goal
  8. What RPMs do you turn at 65 MPH, about 1200? I think if you get better than about 12 MPG it's a modern miracle. Not sure, never had it up to 65 yet. But we are getting around 8mpg  Going to put in a new O2 sensor and see what we get. Everything else is new so it must be a bad O2 sensor.
  9. Looking for someone with a set up close to ours so we can see about what MPG we are looking at. 4.0 HO AW4 6.5" lift 3.55 Axles 33" tires I am think about 16mpg for our set up??

    Big Problems

On the way home last night I had my Ranger make a big pop and then it started to drive like crap  Pulled it into the garage and this it antidisestablishmentarianism I found :headpop: It's a 93 and the body has not one rust spot on it, so did not expect to see this. At the back I found this on both sides. They are about to go and the shackles are also toast. Should be easy to fix the back as they bolt on. And I just told my wife on Tue. that it drives and looks as good as it did on day 1.
  14. When you get someone that knows the system PayPal will not be a lot of help. The guy that took me for the $350 took 5 other guys for total of $1,200. The other guys were out the $$$ unless the bad guy ever put funds back into his PP account. The local police was even less help then PayPal, they wanted me to fill out the report in person  Now that I think about it, that guy was from IA, Going to see if I can find his name..
  15. Yes, PayPal will screw you when they can. I got a engine using PayPal and used my Credit Card. The buyer got the money pulled it out of PayPal and closed his bank account. All PayPal did was say yes I was in the right but that he closed his account and I was out the $$$. I reported the loss to the Credit Card Co and they pulled the $350 back from PP and took it off my account. Then Pay PalP got mad at me as they took the $350 hit. If I would have used my checking or debt card I would have been the one out the $350. So better use a credit Card when using PayPal
  16. I have connections all over :brows: Except in Wisconsin  (read the first post here from JT :D ) "Plus the fact that I recently sent a buddy of mine, that has lived in NY forever, a good ol' southern treat of a jar of Dukes Mayo.. " I get it :D
  17. So whom has lived in NY forever????? :dunno: :hmm: I know I've lived and worked in other state, even states south of the Mason-Dixon line ;) Dukes is GOOD, in fact I had some Yesterday :D Miracle Whip is more of a "Salad Dressing" But still my favorite ;) So now we just need to figure out a pipe line to get some more Dukes mayo up here :brows: Just wait until you get that jar of Weber's, then you can do a poll on mustards  And.....Yea, I guest CC is slow right now :teehee: Where were you at to get Dukes??? Making another MJ run ;)
  18. Depends on how much is out for public offering. If he only put 49% out to the public, he can do like some people I know and say thank you for the use of your $$$ and do what he wants. Also the shareholders will also look at the bottom line and if they think everyone will B!$ch but just keep on using e-bay, they will back him up
