I used to buy NAPA all the time, then they started to cheep some things up to keep the price down. I put 2 NAPA ball joints in my truck a few years ago and they both were gonein under a year. NAPA gave me new ones and they lasted just over 2 yrs

Also you can check out what is going on ComancheClub while on the trail :D  :D -
Well we replaced the front DS in the MJ with a 92 DS over the weekend. We found out the 89 calipers, pads and rotors would not fit on the 89 axle  Now I just looked up what a new tie-rod end would cost and see that the tie-rod ends for the 89 and 92 have different part numbers and a big price difference  Anyone know what the difference is??? Will I need to swap out the 92 tie-rods to use on the 92 axle/knuckles???
-
Take some photos of the axle so we can see what is wrong. I bet the disco is bad and that is a quick cheep fix.

I have seen a all white 2wd once 8) I put it on the list with all the other 2wd Jeeps I have seen, WHY

When I got the DS at the local JY, they had it for $30 and it was missing the front cover and right side shaft. It had no fluid in it and a little surface rust on the gears but looked OK. Something must have been up with the bearings that I could not see
-
Thanks, For the price and work to replace the bearings, it's going to be replaced with one froom the JY or we will part out my XJ
-
Thanks, Have the tools just needed the tork specs and backlash, but just checked and new bearings will run about as much as the $95 D-30 from the JY
-
Everything fine inside, just the pinion bearing seized big time  Any body know the specs to replace the pinion and diff bearings
-
What problems are D-30's noted for???? We took the MJ for the first test drive yesterday and had problems  Went for a 5 mile drive first then a 10 mile drive to the in-laws for x-mass. Had some strange vibs when it would go into OD or you let up on the gas  but everything else was fine 8) Made a stop at the father-in-law's house to pick up somethings to take to sister-in-laws, it set for about 40min., went out and it would not move. Acted like a brake had hung up  poped it into 4 low to see if I could free it up and the t-case went pow  think the vibes may have been the chain floping in the t-case  Well we went to eat and came back to see what was wrong. Jacked up each wheel and each tire turned free. Took off both front and rear DS so we could move the MJ so father-in-law could get his car out and it would not move  we then found the front pinion seized  The fluid level is up to the fill hole, so it did not leak out  going to get it towed home today so we can pull the cover off, but was just wondering if this is a common problem.

Good god, let them drive and kill a few people   You need to check into someplace and get some help  You are one sick person :D

You may think it's redicules  but I ride motorcycles and the only think that is more scary then someone talking on a cell phone is a car full of teens driving and not watching what they are doing

Yes Cerdit Card :D or any debit card with the Visa or MasterCard label ;) Talking to some of the others who got took to see what we have in common 8) I only use my debit card for gas, food and auto / jeep parts and a few hobby items. Several guys that got taken are from :Canadaflag: so it's making a short list fast  and McDonalds and auto / jeep parts have moved to the top of the list  Charles
-
They got my debit card # and got funds out of my checking account. They also are using credit card #'s that they got, so they most likely got account info from some company I must have used my card at
-
Anyone get a charge from TEMPLATEGLOBUS.COM on your CC acount or checking account???? I just received one on my checking account and from the looks or it some CC / debit card numbers were stolen from someone  Now right at x-mass I have had to shut down my checking account :headpop:

A lot of the stuff in Rangers and s-10 are thinwall and more show bar then roll bar. So you can just bolt it in. If it's a true roll bar will need to tie it into the frame and you can weld or bolt. Bolt being the better way to go.

I wonder if it's this one  http://comancheclub.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6547 Right area ;)
