  1. Ok so I'm confused. Why didnt you just plug the line where it went into the load sensing valve instead of removing it? What was the purpose of swapping the proportion valve? And why did it take so long just to do what you did?
  2. So the driver side e brake cable looks to be way to short of course. But the pass looks to be way to long. Do you have a long bed mj?
  3. Wait about all the extra lines I have in the pictures. Can you take a picture of yours. Also I want to bypass the load sensing valve. And I have also been told I don't need a proportion valve with disk brakes. Just drums.
  4. I'm doing a ford 8.8 31 spline disk brake swap on my mj. Blew out the Turdyfive. anyway the Previous own has a huge jumble of brake lines in the rear and I'm trying to weed threw it and simplify it.I have pictures attached. The rear brakes in my 35 were barely working if at all. Can yall help me fig out what i need to do to simplfy this. Pictures would be great along with part numbers, ect. Also I would like to make the ebrakes work too. I'm not sure of the cables will reach or not but I doubt they will. I have 9 inches of lift in the rear of my mj. Also will they even wok with the existing ebrake system? Here are the pictures
  5. I have AA. It's works great.
  6. Nates4x4 bumper. But I modifided it for the lights.
  7. I have a 31" spare under the bed - plenty of room under there even dual exhausts. A 32" tire should fit under the bed just fine. But I guess you had to do what you had to do because you wanted to. Nothing wrong with that. the spare tire carrier under the bed is not there from the previous owner. I have not been able to find one anywhere...
  8. My 88 Just rolled over 100,000. I guess I'm the biggest loser......
  9. And the reason it is in the middle is I was trying to evenly distribute the load. there is a lot of weight on the tallest part of the truck. It absolutely killed the center of gravity ( which I knew it would) so I definably wanted it evenly distributed.
  10. The point was to free up real estate in the bed. I tried the "standing up in the bed off to one side" deal and the blind spot was ridiculous. and I didnt want to make a carrier off the tail gate. The trucks main purpose is a beach/ Fishing rig. Where I live on the coast the best fishing is in places that you need 4WD and a light vehicle. Some spots are 22 miles now the beach with no one around and one access on and off the beach ( which is 22 miles away). That spot is mainly a flounder hole in a cut of the bay off the mouth of the river going into the gulf of mexico. Anyway Its a over night fishing trip basically. I have to haul alot of gear down the beach when we go. Generators, coolers, lights, gas, rods and tackle, food, ect. The last time we went we had to leave the spare cause we didnt have enough room in the bed. So this was my solution and I think it has worked perfectly. And I wanted to do it because I have never seen it done before.
  11. MAn thats a basket case! I'm glad you have the guts to bring that mj back!
  12. I will admit.... It is a bit goofy lol. But I don't think anyone has done it. ONE OF A KIND  It is surprisingly very very stout and doeskin look like it is putting to much stress on the roof or roof rails. I will try to get some more pictures up tonight when it is not so bright outside. So from start to finish..... ez go golf cart roof rack, some jcr roof rack mounts, some square tubing and a big @$$ bolt, lots of beer., and There ya go. MJ ROOF RACK!
  13. Then I attached my dual row led 40 inch light bar and hi lift jack and put it all on the truck.
  14. Then painted it and here is the result. I took 10 bolts and drilled a hole through the frame and the basket and attached the two.
  15. For the tire carrier I cam up with this while at the Metal yard. 1 1/4" x 7" blot with a "I" nut. Tack welded it on the top and welded the bolt to a washer on the bottom, then the washer to the plate.
  16. Ok well welded up a frame. This is it. used the JCR roof rack brackets. [/ URL] [/url
