Got a new neon a few weeks ago that needed some repair. I was able to get it fixed up Friday and get it working. It is the one on the far left. :banana: :banana: :banana:

Saw a thread like this over on cherokeeforum and I thought it was neat to see where people were wrenching on their rigs. so please feel free to share. I would love to see what yall got going on. I'm currently restricted to a 2 car garage. I also own and run a small woodworking business I operate out of my house. So a lot of my woodworking tools take up room. Organization is key to make it all work in this small of a space. I have two AC units in the garage and do a great time of keeping it cool in the hot Texas summer and warm in the winters. I hope to be buying a piece of property soon and building a nice size metal building onit with in the next few years but it all depends how life pans out.

I'm going 2.5L. A 4.0 will not fit into a 2.5L engine bay. Unfortunately they are sized differently... False, they are exactly the same.

Yes, I was less than thrilled. I was told that the filters were clogged and pump burnt up.

Also, $7000 worth of receipts in the last 5k. 100% new AC and Transmission along with other things.

It pulls my 18' car hauler with my side by side and quads just fine on flat ground but going up some of the big hills around here it struggled. That's why the pump is being turned up. So I have a few more rpms. It probably has some to do with gearing and tire size right now. But I don't have any complaints really. It's awesome to drive. I still haven't had it dyno'd but I'd like to sometime. I'm thinking about building my other motor and putting it in a lowered 2wd Comanche and making it "fast" 2 turbos, more fuel, injector work. It'll be fun and different. It would be more than fun and different..... It would be AWESOME!

I love everything on paper about them. Then I see a picture of them. That is what kills it for me. Just not a fan of the styling that much. A bit to "soft".... But its not horrid or anything. I even asked my soon to be wife if she liked them when we pulled up to a stop light next to one last week. I have been looking for a new truck and asked her, " What if I got one of those? What do you think?". She responded with, " Um no, I'm not going to let you drive around in a little girly looking truck... ". So, not a choice for me lol. However, mind you, we do live in Texas...

I think the side view mirrors are worst than anything. I don't even mind the truck that much other than those AWFUL mirrors... :eek: :ack:

Here are my choices! -cheap fun (less than 2 grand but no mods allowed other than fixes and a thumping radio) 1978 Datsun 280z - They CAN be had for 2 grand but they would obviously not be in this kind of shape :) -prettiest (but you don't get to drive it, just park it in your living room) Next is the Ferrari Berlinetta. Its ok that I can't drive it... I get enough joy from drooling over how pretty it is. :drool: :drool: :drool: :drool: -money no object (but it's your only around town transport) Last is the 2015 Jaguar XJ, This is one sweet ride
