  4. Well let see i pick this up last night about 8:00 and it is now about 11:00 the next day and this is what has been done so far. Bone stock and 34's NO LIFT just a little fender trim. I like them trimed just a little :brows:
  5. I think this is #7 on the list of Jeep that I have owned. I now, what is the point of keeping track of how many jeep we own. To me it is like how many woman a guys has sleeps with. I think  Well here it is it is a 93 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 auto I am going to build this under 1000 for the wife and kids to go with me. The truck is GREAT but the XJ with be ok for the kids and the wife. I am going to keep this as my build page here since this is not a MJ. Hope this is cool. So here is the plan: Budget Boost 3”lift 34x10.5x15 TSL (cut the body to fit) Then wheel the $#!& out of it
  6. here are some more pics
  7. :agree:
  8. So far so good took the truck out for about 3hr today it did do really good. I didn’t do any thing way hard but I and the wife had a blast. I had to come in due to the water pump started to leak  and I scratch the paint a little but nothing to bad so far. Then I jump into the mini-van to take it in town right quick and was not watching the side of the van and back into a mail box so I guess the trail report is Truck: Busted water pump Tree door ding Mini-Van: Busted tail light  So here are a few pics for you guys: I will add more later. here is a link to my pics: http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/vie ... &members=1

  10. it is 11:00 here me and the wife are getting ready to go down to the local wheeling spot. This will be the trucks frist time out and my first time out driving So Tuesday I will try to get some pic for you guys
  11. i thought RE had the most complete lift kit out there but then again i don't no this frist hand.
  12. looks like fun and you no if you were not 1700 mile from me i would take those axles. But damn still looks like fun.
  13. even if you break one can't you get some super shaft of some sort
  14. ok after that get the 8.25 if your going to be showing off in front of your honda buddy's the last thing i want to see is your MJ being laughed at becouse you did a burn out and bang goes the D35.
  15. yeah my grand keeps telling me to service the 4wd switch what the hell is that. $#!& the MJ does not talk to me and it is nice this grand is nice but to much junk in there.
  16. Ok Pete i guess I understand  Ok then the 8.8 is out put the 8.25 under there then. I understand that this is your DD with tiny tires. But if/when you lift the axle is done. once agian just my thoughts.
  17. Just my thought is put and axle in that you are not going to have to replace later. Way spend 100 dollars plus the funds of setting the axle up when you could buy a better axle the first time and be done with it. Also most all of the guys on here will tell you it is not IF the D35 will blow but more of WHEN
  18. Hold up here guys we are telling him info on a D35 right  I have one question for you why do you HAVE TO HAVE A D35. It will not just bolt in unless you get one out off of a MJ. Who in there right mind puts a D35 in there truck for un upgrade. I understand that you want the gears or that is my thinking. If so this must be a 2wd because you are not looking for a matching axle for the front right. Most junk yard are going to want 150 to 200 and up for an axle why not go with the 8.8 which will need spacer(it is like an inch shorter over all) or better yet get the 8.25(same width as the D35). They all come with the same gears. And there all going to take the same thing to make them fit. Cut perches off clean axle, set pinion angel, weld on new perches. And at this time you can decide if you want to leave SUA or go to SOA. Just my thoughts
  19. he!! no man mine was free.
  20. think it is off of a XJ looks a lot like this one before we cut it up Some guy is wanting to sell this over on NAXJA and said the brand was Manik Brush Guard. Looks like the same thing just better paint here is a link: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=928854
  21. I don’t no it’s an Amigo. I just never thought off this as something that you would build to take out and play. Plus this kid’s set up was something else. I mean it worked for him and that is all that matters. By the way if the kids rig look like your old one I would more than likely not of said any thing that. And he was parting it out because the motor went and he want an Xbox or something.
  22. yeah, try rolling the truck some because you're supposed to be moving ~1-2mph when you shift into 4lo so the gears might not be perfectly aligned, basically just rock it back and forth and eventually you will be able to slip it in. thanks i will try this Thanks guys
  23. will then i am going to have to do something becouse that is neutral for me. I am going to have to go out and see if i can get it to go back some more then.
  24. i read the manual and it did not sink in i guess  on the t-case under the truck no linkage attached 4low would be all the way up right???
  25. Got my rear shocks mounted to day I think this should hold for a while or I hope so Well then after that the guy that does my welding had a little dirt pile out back so I thought that this would be a great time to get some poser shot of the jeep.
