Hey guys, while tinkering around with the MJ this weekend I found something interesting. The Jeep was repainted at some point so little is known of its original state of being, up until now! I found out that the Jeep was originally a dark gray/gunmetal color from the factory and that the doors and bed had orange/red stripes going down the side. Any idea what model that would make the Jeep? Its a long box if that helps, but I am curious to see pictures of what it looked like "back in the day". Thanks guys! RockMJ

Hey guys, I am in desperate need of bucket seats for my MJ. I have absolutely no seating in it and I'm getting close to finish the interior up. I would prefer newer XJ seats in the Agate color but really anything is better than nothing. Let me know what you have and if your willing to ship them to FL I would be willing to pay the shipping (within reason). Thanks guys! RockMJ

Restoring the floor pans with some POR-15 and other goodies. Coming along nicely so far! RockMJ

Yeah, I just need to do some minor sheet metal repair is all. Not looking for OEM quality just good enough to make it solid again. Ill figure something out but thanks for the input guys RockMJ

I will be utilizing a POR-15 floor pan kit that I bought. Ive always had great results with their stuff so worst comes to worst I can put some plates on top with rivets, seam seal it, and bed liner over it when I'm done. And some times welding it makes it look worse. Ive seen some scary blobs over the years lol RockMJ

No, my doors are in great shape its just the drivers side floor needs a repair. I would like to weld in a new floor pan but if I have to do it without I can as well. I would just like to do it "right" RockMJ

I had some of their products on my LJ and they are for sure top notch! I was saving up for some goodies before me and that Jeep parted ways. Nice article btw! Thanks RockMJ

Hey guys, my MJ is in need of the drivers side floor being replaced and I need to find someone with a welder living in Florida. I live in New Port Richey and sadly, my MJ isnt on the road right now which makes things increasingly difficult. So essentially, I'm seeing if anyone is local to me who would be willing to give me a hand? Name a price and well get it done. Thanks guys, RockMJ

Ive got my old one if anyone wants it. Not in the best of shape but its a fair replacement for a seriously beat one RockMJ

Found this while searching for axles for the MJ. I don't have the coin right now but it seems like a decent deal http://orlando.craigslist.org/pts/2606538262.html RockMJ

Rusty's is complete garbage and their products have been known to fail and cause accidents at speed. There was a guy in a mildly built Rubicon that had the welds on the trac-bar fail while he was on the highway. They make really poor quality products so again, lift it correctly or don't do it at all. You get what you pay for RockMJ

Have you noticed that the bedliner has made the Jeep more quite? I'm just curious if it sounds less "hollow" than in stock form. Looks good man and I'm not really a fan of black and red :D RockMJ -
Yeah, Advance Auto had it or you can find it online. VHT makes it and its a top quality product RockMJ

Yeah I tinted them to do something a bit different. Obviously didnt want the reverse lights to be blacked out so I just taped them off and gave them a few light coats of Night Shades tint RockMJ

I was just posting up that I got it! I just tapped the wiring I ran into the green/black wire from the dash switch and it works perfectly. Goes off with the hi-beams etc. The front end is officially done! Woot RockMJ

Hey guys, I just got my foglight switch assembly today and I am looking to finish up the foglight install on the MJ. The Jeep never had fogs from the factory but from what ive gathered the wiring is there to the wirewall correct? I have (in the area of the oem switch) two harnesses and lights. A green set of three cables and a pink with the same count. I put the foglight switch onto the green ones and with the lights on and low beams on I got the light on the switch to come on! So I'm pretty positive that is the correct set of cables as I think the pink is for the bed light. Well, my big question for everyone is where is this ten pin connector ive read about? Ive looked in the engine bay and I havent found anything. Does anybody have a picture of where it is and what it looks like? On the green cab harness for the switch theres a solid green, green with a black tracer, and a black. Black is the ground but which of the greens should I be looking for to attach my engine bay harness to? Ive already wired in the relay and the lights are wired. I just need to get the power cable from the relay to the harness to complete it. Help! RockMJ
